By far my favorite coffee shop in the lower mainland. Staff are almost always friendly. Coffee actually tastes good. Baked goods made fresh everyday.
The atmosphere is cozy, I like the port coquitlam location the best. It's not trying to be elegant and posh. Just a neighborhood coffee shop with ample seating, tables, bar stools, a couch(like that 90s sitcom), and a fireplace.
Once I found out about this place I refuse to go elsewhere, good thing they have some locations close to where I live too. I will walk 20 minutes past countless other coffee shops just to go to one of their locations.
These guys are passionate about their coffee, merch is good too.

Great place to grab coffee and a snack and people watch. Busy coffee stop, staff worked hard to get out the orders. A real good latte. Good amount of seating on entry and upstairs.

Busy place in the mornings but they have a lot of staff so you get your stuff quick. They have hands down the best tasting coffee down town. I love it. And the baked goods are yummy too.

The hygiene in this JJ branch is absolutely terrible. With the same pair of gloves, they prepare sandwiches, clean the glass, talk on their phone, touch their hair, and do several other things that are completely unhygienic. It seems the manager or supervisor really needs to take another basic hygiene training course to understand what’s going on in this café! Making people sick can happen this easily through such irresponsibility. Please take this seriously!

Waited as if invisible. Service was very slow even though there were few customers. I had a Cafe Mocha and it was over $7. Lousy service, forgettable coffee, no whip, ... lots of nearby options.

Stopped by this cafe for a quick pre-meeting sip and bite. I ordered a medium sized mocha and a plain/butter croissant. I was delighted by the taste of the mocha, nothing to be added or taken away.
It was rich, decadent, with just the right amount of sweetness.
The croissant was pretty large, crispy on the outside, light , fluffy and well layered on the inside.
Will by stopping by for my next cuppa.

Friendly staff and tasty baking goods
JJ Bean doesn't miss! I just got a London fog here and it tastes like a warm hug. Their other coffee drinks, giant muffins and fluffy scones are good too. The service is also quick, courteous and no nonsense. Of the many coffee shops around the area, this place has my vote!

Great place with plenty of space and a quiet atmosphere. well-organized, and if you’re looking for a spot to have a conversation, head to the second floor. There are comfy couches where you can sit and chat without loud music in the background. If you prefer a peaceful setting for a conversation, this is the place to be!
Great coffee and service
