We used to order take out from Ki isu Yaletown until they messed up our online order one time—we waited in the restaurant for one hour to pick up our order and it wasn't ready. So, finally, we had to leave without and apologize or a refund. They renovated recently, I like the lighter interior and the seating was more comfortable and less 'exposed'. We ate in. The salmon teriyaki was very tender and it came with six or seven(?) pieces of salmon. The black rice...

Wow! What a meal. We had the Bento Boxes and a Roll Combo. The Bento boxes came with miso soup and Sunomono salads. Everything was delicious. The chicken teriyaki was very generous and cooked to perfection. The sashimi that accompanied the Bento Boxes was wonderful and very fresh. We could hardly eat everything. The California rolls, the Dynamite Roll and the Tuna Roll was beautiful too. Well done and great value.

I’m usually very picky when it comes it good sushi. I stopped by Ki-Isu for the first time. I was actually surprised at how good the food was. I tried the miso soup and spicy dragon roll. My friend had a miso soup and the sweet mango roll. Both of enjoyed the food. Location is pretty cute and laid out really well.
