I can confidently say that this is a client-oriented business. Despite an unfortunate incident with a Paska bread that happened after I left their Gastown location, the Kozak team was extremely kind and promptly resolved my issue. Thank you! Truly appreciate your customer service!

Fantastic First Experience with UkrainianCuisine! My partner and I recently visited Kozak Ukrainian Eatery & Mill on Victoria Drive, and it was an unforgettable experience. It was our first time trying Ukrainian food, and we were absolutely blown away by the flavors and hospitality. We followed the staff's recommendation and started with the pork version of their Borsch soup, which was incredibly rich and flavorful. We also tried a sausage dish with a cabbage base (apologies for not recalling the name), which was bursting with savory goodness. And let's not forget the pistachio dessert roll – it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Beyond the amazing food, the service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. The vibe of the place was also fantastic – cozy and welcoming. Overall, Kozak Ukrainian Eatery & Mill exceeded our expectations in every way. We can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. If you're looking for delicious Ukrainian cuisine served with a side of warmth and hospitality, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Went to Kozak for the first time this weekend in search of a croissant cube...didn't find the cube but definetly found our new favorite place whilst visiting Vancouver! Had the best brunch of perogies, Nalysnyky, latkes, and kovbasa. The staff were awesome at the Victoria drive location and the resturant was tidy & comfortable. We loved picking from the bakery stand and left with the coolest easter loaf. 10/10 will return.

I was told outside of the Ukraine this is the most authentic place. I'm not Ukrainian but it was so awsome I went back again and again.

I dropped by this cute bakery-cafe to pick up something and leave. Once inside it smelled so beautiful and delicious, I had to stay. The vegetarian Borscht with beans was absolutely delicious to the very last spoonful! The lovely sourdough toast was hot and a perfect accompaniment for dipping. The Americano with cream was smooth & yummy. I ordered the cheese bun without realizing the soup came with toast, so that was for supper later. All in all this was a very healthy, delicious lunch choice… I’ll be back!

Great tasting authentic Ukrainian food. Everyone works so hard here to making your dining experience satisfying. The borscht is very good. The Mama’s Combo is especially appealing as it offers a bit of everything. End off with a delicious Medovyk honey cake and coffee and you’re set! Wonderful.

I came here a few times for their delicious Babka but was always curious about the mains and have heard good things about the Borsch. The Borsch was such an experience. I loved learning to eat it like an Ukrainian! I am not sure why the steps are the way they are but oh my goodness, the result was so delicious I kept thinking about it the rest of the week. The portions are huge. My friend and I ordered another dish to share but was so full that we would have been satisfied without. You can get the Borsch with beans, pork, or salo canapes. We both opted for pork but next time I would like to try the salo! The restaurant has two sides, a more "quick" service side and a "sit down" side. Service is friendly and quick! Lots of street parking available in the area. They have two other locations as well.
