Great spot for late night eats. We stopped by at 10pm and it was still quite busy and lively. I got the pork liver and kidney congee and it was really good. The charsiu vermicelli noodle was just okay. Affordable meal for two for under $25. Cash only.
I miss going to this restaurant for their amazing lunches and their good value, variety & selection menu. Dinner ordered via Door Dash was as expected. Impacted by inflation, it was pricy. Ordered Peking pork chops, dried salted fish & chicken fried rice (I tasted the dried salted fish, love it! Acquired taste!) The beef tripe with tossed noodle was a little disappointing. Though tasty, portion was smaller than expected for its price.
They are open until midnight and cash only. The Chinese food here is legitimately classic and authentic. We had da lang and ordered deep fried pork intestines which were juicy and crisp and served with refreshing pickled vegetables. The pea shoot tips were super tender and delicious. The deep fried silverfish was nice and crispy. The plain congee was creamy and nourishing to the soul. Last, their honey garlic spareribs were juicy and awesome! A great late night meal.
