On our visit to Granville island, we went to LA bise. We had Canele for the first time. What attracted us was the shape and flavors. We immediately got the original custard and bitter orange flavor. The canele texture felt just right. You can't stop once you start eating. My favorite was bitter orange ?, unique and refreshing. Loved every bit if it, will be coming back for more!
You can try a tiny sample. It looks good and delicious. The texture is slightly chewy and soft, which I liked. Each cannelé costs $4~.

Been to the Public Market at Granville Island many times but never got a chance to try the canelés at La Bise until this afternoon. Started with a small tiny tasting piece and fell in love with its taste and texture. Couldn’t help with another piece and then bought two traditional flavour. Must try on your next visit to Granville Island.
