Golf Club Boys Lunch! Excellent Salads, Mains, Desserts and a great bottle of Chianti with a finishing Brunello. Service was tremendous and everyone was more than satisfied. Can't wait to return. Thank you Lydia and Marchello!

Friends Valentine's Day dinner was a big success. One of our friends recommended Dario's. Anytime a restaurant surprises me to the upside with their food is a big win my books. (First time having negroni! Wow, so good!)

We enjoyed a lovely Valentine's Day tonight. The food, service and drinks were all on point. We both agreed that we would absolutely visit again.
Free parking was a bonus because I absolutely hate it when there isn't enough parking.

Worst place I have ever been to. Angelo is incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Came here for a nice Valentine’s Day dinner. We are two young people and were very excited that we won a voucher to this restaurant. After raving about it to all our friends we will definitely be giving a different opinion. Angelo the owner rolled his eyes at me and brushed his hands up when we presented him with the voucher. The young waitress looked very uncomfortable and apologized for his behavior. Very weird. We ended up giving a tip on top of the $20 we had left on the voucher, we left a tip of $10 resulting in a $30 tip which was 18% tip. If you’re going to sell vouchers as a company do not be snarky when given one by a costumer. The voucher was paid and we left a fair tip. Super unprofessional and will be telling every single person I know to never go to this restaurant as well as making a Facebook post. DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A RUDE OWNER. ANGELO. Judging by the hundreds of bad reviews on this establishment this review will most likely be replied back by Angelo himself in a rude way of course! And he will try to defend himself. Be respectful to your costumers and take accountability because I haven’t see any accountability been taken in ANY of these reviews.

Terrible service I used a 200$ voucher for my meal that I won at my company Christmas party and they didn’t let me use the voucher to cover my entire meal. they were very cheap and disrespectful will not being going here again the food was overpriced and not worth the price and very rude unprofessional disrespectful owner. I ended up leaving a tip on top of the voucher which still had $25 left on it and Angelo the owner rolled his eyes and gave us a dirty look. The waitress serving us was young as well and looked very uncomfortable relaying the news that we weren’t allowed to use part of the voucher as a tip on my meal. Incredibly awkward and uncomfortable dinner that ruined our Valentine’s Day dinner.

Four couples had dinner at La Piazza Dario. Both presentation and most of the sauces were terrific.
The grilled calamari was tender and delicious.
Vitello alla Pizzaiola (veal medallions, capers, anchovies & tomato sauce) was spectacular.
However, two dishes were over-salted:
The Linguine Genovese (pesto sauce) was so salty, it was actually bitter.
The sable fish special was salty, too.

The food here is incredible the service is top notch and I ordered the frutti di mare linguini and it was beautifully cooked. I come to vancouver for business and I if I have time we always eat here! The wine selection is also very good.

Why choose Dario's Ristorante Italiano? First of all not too many places left standing in Vancouver with comparable service, setting, and the food. White, clean tablecloth, old school style premises, absence of loud music, plenty of street parking in front. We haven't visited for a number of years, but this time the experience was very positive.
