After 30 years in business, it is no wonder dining at La Terrazza is a throwback to Tuscany! My wife and I loved it so much that we returned the following evening for "round two!" The menu is significant with so many tasty options and competitively priced. The room is a gorgeous, warmly appointed and romantic. Outdoor dining is well choreographed with heaters & roof covering for inclement weather and beautiful greenery making the dining exerience personal and rather private. Of course the Chef is what makes the world go around, however, what significantly adds to and makes this restaurant so special, are the people! Gennaro Iorio, has built this team over many years, with servers and staff that have worked there for many years. From the front-end welcome ( and then, unusually, follow-up service table-side,) the servers, who are not only experienced but genuine, sincere and thoroughly engaging, to the co-owner/partner, Gennaro making the effort to drop by the table to engage in meaningful conversation... The dining was not only exquisite but engaging and memorable. No small wonder with "this room full of professionals," we returned the following night to meet other folks in the team who were also, like the food; complementary amuse bouche, fresh & I mean fresh Tiger Prawn Cocktail, delightfully light & tasty Chilled Scallop Ceviche, juicy and flavourful Truffle Meatball starter, Roast Tomahawk Veal (crispy, then juicy scrumptious), & the best Spaghettini Lobster Carbonara this side of Tuscany... BTW, the wine list must be 40 pages! Both evenings were memory-makers and left us craving for La Terrazza to open in our home town. Lucky you if you live in Vancouver!

Came here for a date night with my husband and was not disappointed. Our pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauces were super flavourful. The atmosphere was also romantic and the service was great. We will be back!

Server was lovely, manager was rather rude in his approach to communicating with our party.

Coming from an Italian family where food is life and high quality of food is key, eating Italian food elsewhere is always a toss. Our dinner was nothing short of amazing. The pasta sauce was authentic and delicious -a beautiful hearty meat sauce- one of the best we’ve ever had (even comparing to Italy). Chicken entree melts in your mouth with a beautiful cream sauce that was light and flavourful. And my personal favourite- the salad! A twist on a ceasar salad with toasted pecans, delicious sliced figs and bacon (or salami) can’t remember which lol was just cleaning the plate.

My girlfriend and I had dinner at La Terrazza on Valentine’s weekend and had a wonderful time. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the host who checked our coats and we were promptly shown to our table. The ambiance inside the restaurant is romantic and elegant and they had placed rose petals on the table for an added touch to mark the occasion. Our server was amazing and knowledgeable and attentive and provided recommendations on the menu and impressive wine list. The owner was also actively greeting guests and ensuring that they were well taken care of. To start, warm bread accompanied by a delicious olive oil and vinegar were brought to our table. We ordered the beef tenderloin and special veal shank, which were tender and delicious, alongside a fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon. We ended the evening with a delectable tiramisu and both agreed that it had been a wonderful evening. We’re looking forward to another visit soon and would highly recommend La Terrazza to anyone looking for an elevated and best Italian dining experience in Vancouver.

We visit this restaurant from time to time.
We booked a reservation for Valentine's Day, not knowing that the à la carte menu was unavailable and only a fixed Valentine's set menu was offered.
They overcharge for the same dishes from the à la carte menu, simply by labeling it as a Valentine's menu.
That's absurd and something I've never seen anywhere else.
We ended up paying $370 (just food, no drink) for two people when it would have normally cost around $220.
Overall, average food with great service, but I’m never going back.
What a way to rip people off.

I went to La Terrrazza with my wife . As you enter this beautiful restaurant you are greeted promptly and professionally. We enjoyed our Beef carpaccio and octopus, then we had the ribeye steak and duck carbonara. Everything was fantastic. We then ordered dessert, wow the cheesecake (original) and the doughnuts amazing.
It is nice to go to a restaurant that is owner operated 10/10

Best Italian food I've ever had! The environment was great and service was welcoming! Pricing is very reasonable considering how fabulous the food is!

Went there for dinner with my family. Overall vibe is great and the location is convenient.

The server was quite busy so service is not best but understandable given it was a busy night. And he’s quite friendly.

We spent just over $500 there for the three of us and overall the food was great, except for the risotto (side) which was very salty. I asked my wife to try and before I said anything she said it’s very salty too. We ended up just finished a quarter of it.

Then a staff came by (probably the owner as he wears a T shirt whilst everyone else wears uniform) and he asked us how’s everything. I told him the food is great except the risotto is too salty. Then the only thing he said was oh is it salty with a weird look and then just walked away as if he doesn’t care.

Not that we are trying to ask for a discount or a freebie (the risotto is a side dish and it’s not even expensive) but since its a pretty decent restaurant his careless attitude is quite a surprise. It definitely had an impact on the overall dining experience.

Edit - got the reply from the owner and its utterly disappointing. And it says a lot about the owner.

By calling customer Mr Salty just because he said the food is salty is naive and disrespectful. And I said he wears a T shirt is merely because that’s what I saw. It was dark and there’s no way I can tell if it’s Loro Piana or uniqlo, neither it matters to me.

Instead of addressing the customer or the issue itself, the provocative reply is pretty unbelievable. If he doesn’t really care about customers feedback, why bother asking in the first place.
