I had a very good experience here. The burrata is incredible, the best I have tried in Vancouver. I was told it gets imported from Italy. The Gnocchi comes gluten free, and was exceptionally good. They have a lot of drink options including non-alcoholic beverages/cocktails. Before the meal bread is served with olive oil and balsamic. The only downside is there's no gluten free bread as an option. Which would be nice, but it saved space for trying one of the sides. Overall, a really good Italian restaurant.

Will not return. The restaurant was nearly empty at 8:30 p.m., which set the tone. My wife's salmon pasta was good, but my beef short ribs were dry and badly in need of sauce. This was at least our fifth visit over the past two years. The most egregious moment came at the end: when my wife asked to take her leftovers home, the waiter dropped a cardboard box on the table and expected her to pack it herself. Unacceptable at this level.

It has been over 15 years since I have eaten at La Terraza but time has not dimmed the quality of the food nor the ambience of the restaurant. A first-rate facility, well worth a special occasion.

Everything was fine. Food and flavor were not unique, but they were satisfactory. The atmosphere was great though. The restaurant kept the festive decorations, and it looked great. Good and quiet place for enjoying fine dining.

I stopped by La Terrazza for a late-night dessert and coffee, and it was exactly what I needed. The ambience was calm and quiet, perfect for winding down after a long day. The standout for me was the cappuccino - rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I also loved the cup it was served in. Not oversized or heavy like many places, just the right thickness and size, which honestly makes a big difference when you are enjoying coffee. It felt intentional and well thought out.
The lava cake was excellent, with the right amount of chocolate and just enough ice cream to complement it without overpowering the dessert. On top of that, the manager and staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. Will definitely be going back to try their dining area next time and explore their food menu.

Cozy wine‑cellar vibes at La Terrazza with a solid bottle list and romantic lighting, but the lobster “carbonara” threw a curveball – pretty tasty overall, just never expected green peas in it. The short ribs were delicious, very tender.
