It is incredible that they can't even do tortilla chips and salsa right. Overpriced too, the worst is 2$ to add a tiny cup of sour cream on the side is just insulting

La Tortilleria is located inside the Granville Island food court. Caution be careful when you eat outside the food court. Those birds 🦅 can be very aggressive.
I got the shredded chicken Taco salad with all the trimmings. I can imagine the line up being very long here, however I lucked out in the morning.
The only down side is the service. I have encountered a rude person at the cashier a few times. But then again the food worker makes up for it. Nothing brings more joy than workers who love to socialize with babies and kids. Keeps the little ones engaged and to eat your vegetables to be strong like him 💪🏻
I haven’t tried the other items but my Taco salad with chicken add on has always been my go to here 😀

An over miss, would recommend other restaurants at the market. Nothing to talk home about. The burrito lacked cohesion, the meat was lost in the burrito.
We stopped in at Granville Island Market and grabbed a quick bite here. It was really wonderful. The service was incredible, the person working there let my boyfriend try a few things since he couldn’t decide. He ended up going with the barbecue chicken, and I had the enchiladas. Both were great.

can cater for coeliac / celiacs! their soft shell tacos are gluten free. the person who served me was knowledgeable about cross contact risk - they can heat up the tortillas in the microwave to avoid the grill where gluten ingredients are used, and know to change their gloves. I had the chicken tacos which were really tasty
