You can’t go wrong with La Durée for macarons. The atmosphere and place is really an escape to Paris. I enjoy the service and the selection, with some seasonal changes. I recommend trying some of the classics like lemon and strawberry!

Ladurée's hot chocolate is exceptional - thick, rich, and decadent. The vanilla dessert was also a delight. However, when it comes to their afternoon tea set, I found myself wishing for more savory options to balance out the sweetness. While everything was delicious, having additional savory choices would help prevent sugar overload and create a more balanced experience. Still, it's worth visiting for their excellent pastries and that outstanding hot chocolate.

Wonderful little cafe that transports you to France! It’s overpriced of course, but that’s because it’s so famous and you pay for the brand name.
I’m not a huge macron person… I enjoy them but I’ll usually opt for another dessert. I’ve tried many things here (macrons and other desserts) and they’re usually quite good but not to match the price. And the staff are friendly and knowledgeable but it’s always too busy to ask questions and you end...
