Absolutely incredible!!!! The savory sausage roll and chicken curry pastry were wonderfully flakey and flavorful! I was in heaven with the baked goods—their pumpkin tarte was divine, as was the brandy pumpkin cheesecake! Every single item was just a real treat—highly recommend this establishment!
I live outside of Vancouver. Whenever I'm in town I stop by to buy a Cornish pasty, a sausage roll, and an apple gallete. They are all AMAZING! The pastries are flaky but not too flaky. The centers are tasty and fresh. Each has distinct and authentic flavors. Freshly made and absolutely delicious every time. There are lots of great choices at Granville Market, but I can't stop making a beeline for Laurelle's.
I can't figure how many kind of food they offer. Maybe, the customers can't make up their mind what food they get and get stuck in the counter. Thus why makes the staff confuse which customers comes first or who decide what food to get.
I am always know what I want. The twister of cheese and cinnamon are best for a cup of tea or coffee in the afternoon.
The staff are nice but sometimes they are super busy.
