It's been several years since I've eaten at Le Do Vietnamese Restaurant. Sadly, they're closing at the end of the week (August 21). We dropped in on a Tuesday (around 12:15pm) and it was quiet. Our server was friendly and the food came out quickly. They've upgraded the interior since that time. Impressed that the prices haven't gone up significantly. - Bun bo hue ($12.45 large) - they ask if you want pork blood and pork hock in your bowl. The broth was on the lighter side and the spice is very subtle. Good amount of beef slices and one large piece of pork. I'd say their BBH is in the middle of the pack compared to all the other Vietnamese spots in town. - Pho tai, bo vien ($12.45 large) - had a sip of R's broth; good depth and clean. A bit lighter so we were thinking it's chicken broth. There wasn't a drop of soup left in his bowl. Cash only. Go while you still can!

The owners are super sweet, service was fast and soup was delicious, I highly recommend! Bonus points for having the original Jaws playing on the TV!

Very tasty veggie pho, one of the better options in Greater Van. They have two veggie soup options, a regular and a spicy, only in one size ($11.45 plus tax). Cash only. I ordered the spicy one (a bun bo hue) and the soup was out in ~10 mins. You get a generous portion of noodles, deep fried tofu cubes, broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage. The broth is nicely salty, a touch tomatoey, and only lightly spicy (drizzled with chili oil). Hearty and satisfying. Very solid. The place itself your typical hole in the wall run-down Vietnamese restaurant, and is closed early (hours: 10am-6pm). Friendly enough service. Overall, above average veggie pho in Greater Van. Recommended.

Family run traditional Vietnamese restaurant. The best in the neighborhood. Fast service with reasonable price. Lot of veggie options. The only downside is if you choose dine-in, you can smell what you eat from your hair and coat for the rest of the day.

I love me some banh mi, and would definitely list this as one of the best in town (and believe me I've tried a few)! Perfect bread, a good amount of options and never shy with the pickled veg. And very affordable!

Solid Vietnamese restaurant that's family run and the food is very authentic. I especially like the seafood dry noodle that comes with a deep fried prawn cake!! Would definitely recommend for viet food lovers!

I've gotten Pho to go a couple of times here. The last time I asked 3 times for just plain chicken Pho broth and plain noodles, with nothing else in it as my stomach is weak at the moment. When i got home, the noodles had whites onions, green onions, cilantro and something else in them. The broth had some floating veggies in it.How do you get such a simple request like mine WRONG ?I WON'T be back !

Amazing, there is but one waitress and she handled everything, from the orders, checking COVID passports, making some drinks, delivering food, etc.Food was delivered relatively quickly. The spring rolls I will give a passing grade, decent, but not super outstanding. The various pho and other noodle soup we had was all very good. Look, for what kind of place it is I'm struggling to find any complaints so I'm giving it full marks. Pricing is good value, there is a good variety of menu items and some stuff which is not always the usual, execution is spot on, service was good. Nothing really bad to say!Yeah, I will definitely return. It might even be one of those places that is worth a short destination drive. It's easy enough to find parking on the back streets and you get more than the usual here. Big thumbs up from the entire party.

A family favourite! Open for takeout amid these crazy times. Hope they can open for in-person dining soon (or delivery!).

There are many Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but this is definitely my favourite. No frills, but lots of taste. Staff are super fast with the food.I love the pho (especially seafood) but I always get a tofu Banh Mi. Bread is toasted perfectly and veggies has the right crunch. I never get pictures because I eat it too fast ?

This is a great local spot that has reliable food and service. We have been able to customize our dishes every time we come here. Last time, we asked for our beef on the side for our rare beef noodle soup. No problem! Salad roll without bean sprouts? No problem. The soup is so clear and doesn't have the pools of oil on top. We have watched the owners kids grow up, and they recognize us when we come here. Soup, sandwiches, grilled items, bun, com. We have tried so many things here and have never been disappointed.

They ask you if you want pork hock and blood in the bun bo hue which is nice. I wanted it. EVerything was good but nothing special. Portion size was ok.
