Food is great, especially the tofu-egg-veg wok fried noodles.

Ordered the brisket wok fried noodles! Was just noodles with 2 tiny pieces of brisket. Have never felt the need to leave any sort of review before but this was just robbery

Ordered take out for the fried beef noodle, seems they went downhill, I ordered same dish few times. This time the amount of beef even less than last time, only 3-4 very small pieces at the bottom, most was noodle, also so oily. Won’t order again.

This place is a Denman street legend. They make the noodles in front of you. The two best options in my opinion are lemon garlic and peanut noodles!

Vegetarian options: many vegetarian and vegan options

Legendary Noodle House is by far my favourite noodle house. I love watching them chef Jo the fresh noodles. The atmosphere is very tiny but it’s quite unique I love this place! Will be back for more :)

We went here for Chinese New Year, and it was okay. We were between the soup noodles or the cut noodles but went with the cut noodle dish and beef broth on the side. The beef was amazing, though the lamb flavour was a bit heavy. The beef curry was very good too. We also ordered shrimp dumplings, but they stuck to the paper, making them hard to eat properly. The ginger beef portion was small, and it was overcooked and pretty oily. While some dishes were great, others could definitely be improved.

Noodles were great, but the soup dumplings tasted and looked prepackaged. The atmosphere was dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned for a while.

Ordered Salt Pepper Chicken and Beef Brisket Soup Noodle Spinach. The chicken was fairly dry, lacked crispness, and did not have basil as pictured on the menu. The soup was essentially just chewy noodles and broth, with a few little pieces of beef and maybe 4 pieces of bok choy. Flavour was good, but other than that, everything was overall disappointing.

I’m amazed this place stays in business. The food is terrible and overpriced. They miss online orders. Avoid this place at all cost.

Great atmosphere and great services. Food is okay - it is tasty but an alteration of the real authentic Lanzhou beef noodle.

Lovely space in the West End perfect for a small, intimate group or date, or solo dinner. You feel like you’re in a super authentic Northern Chinese restaurant with the decor and flavour to match. Went here on a Sunday night, and it was decently busy with a few tables filled and lots of to go orders. The server was pleasant and efficient, and worked very hard. The dry and wet noodles were fresh, flavourful, and special. We talked about it again the next day! I’m so glad we visited this place. Easy to find, and perfect for dinner especially during these cold nights.

This place isn’t a shadow of what it once was. The food is bland and tasteless, and the wooden, un-cushioned seating is beyond uncomfortable.
Shame.
