The menu is really ambiguous they don’t mention proper ingredients. I have egg allergy and they put eggs in chicken fried rice. I didn’t noticed while eating and when i saw eggs i had vomit all food to avoid allergic reaction, still i got a reaction and had a severe pain because of that. And one top of that the lady possibly owner is really judgy

Really good Shanghainese Cuisine at Lin Chinese Cuisine on Broadway in Vancouver. This place has been here forever and is a bit of a hidden gem. The XLBs were amazing 👌. Great prices and portions too! @linchinesecuisine @thefoodiecarguy

I keep hearing good things about lin's on West Broadway. I finally decided to give it a try one afternoon.

Luckily it wasn't busy, I got seated right away. I ordered the soup dumplings, but longs noodle house is still the best in the city. None the less, still delicious. The beef roll was done nicely, not heavy or greasy. Then the beef Shanghai meat ball. This is definitely a dish to be shared, it's huge. I can't imagine eating this all alone without having the meat sweats LOL.

Overall, service was on the slow side, but not rude. Prices are fair for the area as well.

We were extremely impressed with the food. Lots of options for gluten free. The menu does not display it, but do not let that deter you from trying. We tried a few different dishes:
Szechuan beef (more liquidy)
Pea leaf with garlic
Spicy green beans
House fried rice
Fried squid
*not on the menu: egg and shrimp which is 10/10 and should be on the menu ;) *
My fiance is Chinese, and it was one of the more authentic restaurants. I truly would recommend all of the dishes. There were not any dishes with rice noodles unfortunately, but still excellent! The waitstaff were very attentive as well.

Staff was excellent. Ensured the dishes were all gluten free. The pea leaf dish was amazing. Definitely a restaurant will be returning to on our next visit

I’ve visited this place more than five times and tried a variety of dishes. While the service has always been fine, the food consistently disappoints. Most of the items are deep-fried, overly oily, and lack flavor. Unfortunately, it's not authentic Chinese food.

The food is always soooo good. The xiao long bao is a must have and everything else I’ve tried has been amazing. Lovely owners as well

FRIENDLY! DELICIOUS! FRESH!

Today was my first visit to Lin’s! I was recommended to go by my dad who works down the street, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was not too busy, the service was fast, the food was delicious and everyone who works there was very talkative, smiley and caring. The waitress who came over to take our order was so incredibly cheerful and happy, like she was happy we came to eat at their restaurant! At the end, one of the waitresses came over and spent time talking with me about what I was doing in university and about the volunteer work I did and my goals for a career - I thought that was a very sweet thing that she took time to come chat.
The food we had was outstanding! It was piping hot, very crisp, clean flavor and fresh - beyond delicious! The portions were very generous, and the price was perfectly on point for the quantity and quality of the food. I leave most restaurants feeling disappointed these days about the quality and quantity of food for the price, but that was not the case at Lin’s! IT HIT THE SPOT! My friends and I will definitely be back, and I definitely plan to come here with my family. Whether you want to have a special occasion meal or you just want a bite of lunch, this place is absolutely fantastic! Look forward to visiting again and trying more wonderful dishes!
