Updating this for February 2024: We host a 3 hour reception in Vancouver for 150 senior business and government leaders every 2 years, and after our first experience with Louis Gervais in 2022, we naturally went back for a second helping this past Valentine's Day. And again - absolutely thrilled with the results! We definitely made it hard on the team - bumping our guest list by 10% just over 24 hours ahead of the event - and screwing up the rentals. They fixed all my errors - including dispatching one of the servers to race across town in rush hour to get something the rental company had missed off our list (next time I'm letting LG handle the rentals!!) The food drew numerous compliments from our guests, the servers were incredibly professional and tireless, the bar-tenders were both warm and efficient, and "chef-de-mission" Sabine again anticipated every need - and met it! Part of what really worked was the teamwork - the staff synched incredibly well, and delivered like a well-oiled machine - all of them smiling constantly. Our guests were enjoying themselves so much they stayed a full hour after the scheduled ending and refused to leave until all the food was gone, with some packing napkins full of savory treats for later. That says it all! Truly - not a single thing I could suggest as an improvement! 2022 review: We went looking for a catering firm very last minute in late March 2022, and as firms were struggling to find their feet post Covid. We were hosting 150 senior executives and government officials from across Canada. Sabine from Louis Gervais quickly provided the best proposal we got, based on a combination of price, staffing, menu options and just plain responding to our needs (lots of vegan / vegetarian and pescatarian options) - so after comparing 5 or 6 others, some literally almost twice as expensive with less attention to our needs, we took it - and less than a week later, we were VERY happy with the results. The food - the service - the bar - all perfect. In fact the wine representative was so impressed with one of the bartenders, she offered her a job at Summerhill Pyramid! and all the wait and chef staff, led by Sabine in person, were exceptional. Billing was as expected - everything was handled end to end - and overall, we were just really pleased with the outcome! Thanks Sabine!

Wonderfully fresh ingredients, fantastic for takeout and a great place for lunch. Turkey Brie sandwich is one of my favourites, and the lunch menu changes weekly. Lovely outdoor space with tables, plants and umbrellas, and very reasonable prices. A North Shore Gem.

Louis Gervais and team did an amazing job. Everyone loved the food and was raving about it after the wedding. They loved how the staff was so friendly and polite and how Louis Gervais was so approachable.

WE HAD THE BEST TIME!The food was outstanding and the service, impeccable! We really appreciate their efforts (dealing with rain, rearranging table & bar location) and the service they provided really elevated our casual, back-yard affair.We can't thank them enough for all the help they gave along the way; we will be praising the food and service for a long, long time!

Great work! Louis and Marnie met with us many times to ensure our event was going to be exactly as envisioned. They provided chances to taste the dishes and modify/swap as needed ahead of time. The final result was fantastic. It was for 48 people. Staff was great. Chef at the event was fantastic. Marnie did a great job taking care of everyone in a professional but unobtrusive way. And the food was superb. We wanted French theme with a modern flair and the team totally delivered. It was delicious and high quality. There was none left at the end of the night. I would recommend to anyone.
