Machete Mexican Ancestral Food

oh, my new favorite place while in Vancouver. LOVE everything about this place!

Such a good spot!
A friend and I tried their “machete” signature dish. I tried the chicken and my friend tried the beef, we both loved it! Very flavorful.
I also tried their coconut lemonade and it’s such a good drink. It is so creamy and just a little sweet.

A welcoming authentic Mexican restaurant located on Main Street just a couple blocks north of the Main Street Skytrain station. There is free parking out front and in the vicinity.

Food
The Tapatio Machete has a very flavourful braised beef shank. It was my favourite dish over my two visits.
The Pollito has a millier chicken flavour where the delicious Oaxaca cheese was the most prominent ingredient.

There is an extensive menu to try out ranging from appetizers, drinks, mains and dessert.

I definitely would return to try additional items.

Authentic and tasty Mexican food. We had the pozole and machete and both were amazing. From what I heard most of the menu is Gluten free so great for people with food allergies. Portions were very generous and staff was very friendly :)
