Grape smoothie is amazing.
I tried mango special macu. It was very large
with reasonable price. I highly recommend
Macu is incredible. Blows all other bubble tea places out of the water. For the same price, Instead of cheap powdered drinks with run of the mill boba, you get incredible pure fresh fruit smoothies with the tastiest, unique, chewy bo bo, and green tea jellies. It gets addicting.
Great and delicious teas and the price is not too bad considering that this store is in downtown
Chi chi strawberry smoothie is good
So noisy and workers give attitude
Drove half hour to try get my favourite mango smoothie ( their signature) but was told no mangoes 😓 disappointing
Best fresh mango drinks in the summer:
- King of Mango (coconut milk)
- Mango BoBo (agar jelly)
- Mango ChiChi (cheese foam top)
Lineups are common but it moves fast! You can order from the kiosk or at the front counter. They have carry handles for their cups so you can hold multiple easier.
Compared with last year, it is disappointing to find less grapefruit and an excess of jelly in the mango specialty. Yet, one must acknowledge that the staff work diligently, doing their utmost within the limits of what they can.
We ordered de bo-bo and the Mango King. The place looks neat, welcoming and chic. They are made with real mango! No tang!! Bo-bo definitely fresh, natural, a little too sweet for my taste. The Mango King, definitely worth it. It has a peculiar flavor that is specific, tasteful and intentional. Definitely worth trying it.

Very disappointed with this location. The staff has no sense of service. I tried to get their attention because I had some questions, but after trying a couple of times and being ignored, I just gave up. They kept talking to each other, and at the same time, when a friend or colleague of theirs came in, they gave her a discount, let her cut in line, and kept chatting with her. I asked for a cup strap to hold the cups since I had bought 2 drinks, but they had run out. The staff didn’t even bother to help me cover the straw holes for takeout.
Tried the king of mango smoothie and was impressed! Lots of mango goodness inside with jelly and grapefruit at the bottom. The Chi Chi was nice and had salty cheese foam at the top. Will be stopping by to pick another one up soon.
The line moves at a good pace plus I think it’s worth the wait. I got the king mango (don’t remember the exact name) but the sweetness level is catered more to the asian palette not too sweet! I love the green tea jelly and it also just looks nice! I will def be back to have it again!
We've tried a few different drinks at Macu, but the King of Mango smoothie is definitely our favorite! The line here is usually shorter than at the Richmond location, and it moves pretty quickly too.
Nothing special. I prefer Mango Yummy. Their mango drink is more watered down and not as delicious. I feel like the people that give this place a high review haven't tried that many places so they think it's good without having much to compare to.
