Amazing food, Great flavor, Excellent presentation and Good portion sizes, everything is freshly made, order in advance or wait 10 minutes and visit the local stores, it's worth the wait.

I used to love Manpuku. But gone are the days of cheap prices and big portions. Now, the portions are small and the prices are double. My chicken don had barely half an egg in it. Miso soup was only half full. It's in a rough neighborhood, and is take out only. The value isn't there anymore and it's not worth going in to the grimy DTES for it.

I've been ordering from here for the past year but tonight they didn't have the regular bento I always get on Uber so I got another one and asked if they could make that same bento and they did it ☺️☺️☺️ Food is always delicious, thank you so much!!

Kohei and Ayaka provided great service and tasty food. This is Vancouvers first authentic Japanese bento shop, nothing else compares. The menu is great and the prices are affordable. Definitely try it out.
I ate Japanese style mapotofu! I’ll go again

They do a Croquette Bento which is great. I think it’s vegan but doesn’t specify.
Japanese culture brought into Vancouver using authentic Japanese recipes and ingredients is what first drew me in, followed by the variation of dishes served fresh at an affordable price.
All the staff were friendly, and service was great. The only downside is the tight space, which is understandable as rent is quite pricey in Vancouver. Overall, I'd say this is a great place to go if you're looking for an affordable lunch with generous proportions. Perfect for picnics:)
