Mapo is probably the most authentic Korean experience in the city. The beef bulgogi in broth was DIVINE and the pancakes were excellent. Eating delicious and soul-warming food while sipping Vanmak and people-watching at our window-facing seats was a highlight of our trip to Vancouver. I'd highly recommend anyone stopping by for good eats and service!

This is the place I went because I was craving Korean food! It's more delicious than I thought. I had assorted pancakes and seafood tteokbokki and they were delicious! At 6pm on a Friday night, about 4 people went in right away without waiting. The seats filled up quickly. There are many types of makgeolli, soju, and other alcoholic beverages. The spicyness of seafood tteokbokki is similar to that of Shin Ramyun. The sauce is delicious Recommended menu: assorted pancakes, other pancakes I plan to visit again. The staff are friendly~

I finally found some spicy food in Canada, and it went great with soju. The lettuce was given for free, and the spicy stir-fried rice cake was definitely too much for one person to eat in a normal amount. Later, I ate the rice cake outside and it was so cold. I came to the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and there were no other customers, but the service staff were still proactive and friendly.

It's been a while since I visited because I was craving Korean food. The chicken feet were seasoned just right and delicious. The staff kept walking around and taking care of what I needed, but the distance between the two tables was so close that it sounded like the people next to me were talking together haha.. Other than that, everything was good. Just in case, if you could give me boneless chicken feet too, that would be great. I think it would be good♡

Pancake was really tasty and came in big portions, really liked it. We had few sojus as well which was kinda expensive, but honestly they’re expensive anywhere in Canada.
You give me so much. Meat pancake is absolutely delicious. The tofu kimchi is also truly Korean. I like the makgeolli sampler. The free salad is also delicious. The staff is friendly and pretty!!!! The best!!!!!!!
