Was there with my friend few days ago. Food was good, but broke my tooth because of the seed inside the olive and had to spend 400 cad for the dentist after that lunch.. if you guys serve olives with seeds inside the salad - you have to warn your clients about it

Great food, great atmosphere, and the portion sizes are so generous! It feels like you’ve been transported to Greece and the food is so authentic.
The service staff is excellent and it’s so nice to see people chatting and having a good time. Their tzatziki is also amazing
My friends held my surprise 60th bday dinner at Maria’s Taverna!! This is my favourite neighbourhood Greek go-to restaurant in Kitsilano. I’ve been coming here for years because the food is always fabulous…..best calamari because it’s light & crispy, chicken souvlaki is juicy & not dry, greek salad is always fresh & loaded with feta cheese & their roast lamb shoulder is fall-off-the-bone yumminess! The service staff was all amazing: kind, patient, attentive & accommodating. I had the party platter that had a little of everything, except for my fav lamb so I’ll have to go back again!

Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a lower level so accessible for wheelchairs

Hosted a milestone birthday dinner for 34 people and everything was perfect! The staff was incredibly accommodating, providing friendly and fabulous service, even with a large group. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!! Perfect for any special occasion!

We had a big party and pre ordered our meals. That was a big help since we didn’t have to be worried about ordering on the nite of the party. My lamb chops nicely chargrilled with lemon potato and Greek salad. Kalamari appie was nice and lite. Great place to accommodate a big party. My first visit was 30 years ago. Will come back more often now. Lamb shoulder was tasty too
