Maxim's Bakery Fraser Street

The blackforest cake had virtually no cherries - only a few pickled ones on top. Do no buy any from them. Fake!

Yesterday, December 21, 2024, I bought a cream roll from Maxim Cake Bakery on Fraser Street, Vancouver. The cream roll gave me full of surprise when it was filled with small pieces of egg shell and it was no way to be enjoyed!!! I am not going to shop at any branch of the Maxim Cake Bakery in Vancouver anymore. A frustrated customer in Vancouver BC, Canada.

BC government the one lead the inflation by raising so much tax , no more plastic bag allow stores have to use paper bag and can charge 30 cents , governments allow 30 cents for the bag , stores know governments ok for them to raise the prices why not keep raise prices , this Fraser st location not friendly , lady owner and staff are very cold never smile not a warm welcome place , pastry cost 30 cents they sell for average $3:50 and never fail every time they ask do you want a bag for 30 cents while it cost them 5 cents from China , the owner so greedy , please stop it asking people do you want a bag for 30 cents you made more than enough why want to take 30 cents more , before bag is free stop being greedy , maybe CRA should audit the owner flour butter sugar very cheap to buy stop raising prices you make enough money , enough is enough don’t be greedy people will just stop buying and cook at home , many restaurants are dead because they’re greedy , people just cook at home that’s why many supermarkets are full because people cannot afford to eat out , I can’t stand it when every store ask do you want a bag for 30 cents , just STOP IT before free if people want they’ll ask ,

Cannot pay with a card below $10. They don’t seem to concerned about the customer service or attitude either. So here is your review.

Cheap and affordable food or even snack on the go! The one thing that pulled me off was The lady at the who was serving me was rushing me to pay like there’s no tomorrow. You should never rush a customer unless the customer is in a hurry fair enough.

Really rude cashier. Been buying a lot of of small moon cake as gifts for college and always given small bag for it. The lady wanted me to pay $2 for a bag.

Very rude staff worst coustmer service ever received in bakery . I was hungry and no other shops open that time only there bakery opened I went there and buy something to eat and they said pay by cash I requested Many times that please take payment by card or wait I will come back and pay cash she rudely snatched packet from my hand and behave like am a beggar there . Worst ever behavior .

Usually enjoy this place but seems they require you to spend $10 minimum for using debit. No thanks.

It was a good cake my whole family liked it however, they did not go through with my request to have only strawberries, instead they added all the fruits which went against our agreement on the phone, overall it was a good cake I just wished they remembered to put the strawberries.

I've spent hundreds of dollars here in the past on cakes, pastries, breakfast and coffee. I will never go back. Extremely rude staff as other reviews have alluded too. Final straw is they are charging $2.25 for a one time use bag.

This is my favorite bakery for the selection of tasty buns and their cakes. I have been enjoying their cakes since my childhood and continue to enjoy their cakes now with my own children.
Great prices great service and always great tasting food.

Worst bakery the staff was very rude and when I say rude I mean it and the staff was racist when my brother asked witch one is the cheapest she said you have to be rich, he is 11and only gets certain amount of pocket money u can't expect him to be rich when he is young this is my first and last time at this bakery and she threw the cake inside the bag, we didn't even eat it we threw it in garbage
Mean as hell, don't go here they are gonna food poison you.y worst experience ever
