Excellent atmosphere, sophisticated but not fussy food, creative cocktails and experienced service. Outstanding neighbourhood gem that the tourists haven't discovered yet, thank goodness (though I haven't been to brunch yet, maybe they have then). Can't wait to go back.

Eggs Benny was mid, but my friend said their food was amazing. Service wasn't bad but wasn't great, the spot was very busy so understandable. Cool spot.

Maxine's is always impeccable. The details here are thoughtful, the staff are genuinely lovely, and the food is perfect every time. I regularly frequent Maxine's and have never had an experience short of spectacular.

Good was good, but service was below par. took a long time to be seated at my reserved table, which wasn't ready, took over 15 minutes to even be offered water.

I tried the brunch menu here before and I really enjoyed it so we went back for dinner and I’m really disappointed by the size of the portions!! I ordered the lobster gnocchi and left the place hungry after spending 50 dollars! Even the burger was on the smaller side and the steak sides were really tiny. Good flavour tho.

Great food and service. We sat on the patio which is a bit noisy with the sirens on Burrard. But enjoyed it very much nevertheless.

Delicious brunch menu. Staff treated us like long term friends even though it was our first visit. Cocktails unique and delicious as well. Sat outside and the vibe and temperature was perfectly controlled.

Went the first time because it was convenient to my hotel and I like bistros and I wanted dinner. Dinner was so good that i looked at the brunch menu and knew I had to come back…i did! Brunch was amazing and the staff was super nice. Highly recommend!

Great find, staff were superb, with an excellent menu, including oysters, which were absolutely devine.
If you are in downtown Vancouver give it a go, you will not be disappointed...10/10.

This is a great neighbourhood Italian restaurant in French decor. A great spot if you like pasta. The meatball appetizer is fantastic.

Came for dinner and got the fried chicken with chilli and honey, pickled carrot & falafel, and linguini. The food was pretty okay —I liked the chicken, it was cooked nicely and not dry at all.
The only issue I guess was the price & wait time. We went for dinner and there wasn’t many people at all, maybe 7-8 tables, so I expected faster service (bringing food out) and did not expect to wait 30-40 ish minutes. The servers were awesome though, very attentive and super kind!! The food was good, but very very expensive ($32 for a very small linguini, etc). Wouldn’t recommend for dinner, but I’ve heard good things about their brunch so I would probably try this place again but for brunch!!

I had the Bananas Foster French Toast and it was the best French toast I’ve ever had. The bread was perfectly crispy on the edges, the sauce was amazing and the pecans were the perfect touch

Great place for brunch and service was exceptional.

It gets pretty crowded inside with a high chair but they were very friendly and accommodating.

Decided to go to this spot for breakfast as I have been meaning to go for the last while. As my mum and sister were visiting from Ireland I thought we’d head down. We were told we don’t take reservations after 9:50am and we had booked using open table for 10am and had received a call from the restaurant to confirm our booking 24 hours prior. Host was very rude on Canada day.

Went there a few times and every time I go there, it never disappoints me! Coffee is also good quality and food is exceptional! I tried chocolate hazelnut French toast once and it was heaven. Too bad it was only seasonal menu.
