The restaurant Daikichi Sushi is a very friendly, clean and cozy place. The level of service and attention to detail is amazing. The kind gentleman prepared each item from scratch, fresh with love and packed it securely. The house salad is a MUST HAVE, delicious with the best dressing. The quality of food is good and the price is reasonable, great value for money. Dishes: tempura, eel on rice bowl, Unagi Bowl, miso soup, sushi, deep fried tofu, Unagi rice and Hitsumabushi. The Unagi Bowl comes with steamed egg custard, broth, garnishes and vanilla ice cream for dessert, and the grilled unagi is fresh and delicious. The place also has many donburi and seafood bowl options. The restaurant is a lovely little family‑run, authentic Japanese style place that like family. Perfect to walk around the river after lunch or supper, with good parking for two hours or more. Recommend a visit for the amazing food, great service and best prices anywhere in BC or AB.
