The valentines dinner was amazing as all of their food ALWAYS is. The service was spectacular - hands down. The drinks were inspired and the food was to die for. When we visit Vancouver we always visit our favorite spot.
We had a fantastic evening at Maxine's. I forgot how much I love this place, but it's even better with the new menu. The butternut squash appy was delicious and creative and the sole was devine. Had to bring home dessert because the portions were so generous!
We are regular customers at Maxine's. Last night when we arrived, the hostess offered us a table on the patio where she proceeded to sit us next to a dog that was taking up all the space between the table next to us, as well, it wasn't the nicest smelling dog. We waited some time before the hostess came over to take our drink order which was fine because our server was busy. Everything was ok, until we waited about 40 minutes for our entrees.
