Max’s Bakery & Delicatessen is an absolute delight! The baked goods are fresh, flavorful, and made with care, and their deli items are equally impressive. Everything we tried was tasty and generously portioned.

Haven’t been to Max’s in several years. Disappointed. Chicken Pie was somewhat tasty, but on the dry side.
The corned beef was horrible and so fatty, I would never have that again. Doesn’t compare to the corned beef sandwich at Omnitsky’s Kosher Deli on Fraser St which is amazing. I actually threw out what I purchased.
The loaf of bread was definitely not baked same day as I was told.

Good variety of pre-made food and baked goods available, and a range of sandwiches made to order. Wait times can stack up when it's busy but I've always had friendly service. That said, I usually visit on weekends or in the evenings after work. Prices range from being fair to a bit on the high side, but I'd rather pay a little more for something fresh. I've never been disappointed with the portions I receive for the price.
