This place NEEDS to get audited or reviewed for food safe.Food itself was great. But we sat at a table in front of the sandwich making station and the person making everyone’s food didn’t wash their hands once. There was no hand hygiene in between sandwiches or clean up.I saw them grab a dirty damp cloth wipe everything, touch a pen, grab the garbage bin, open door handles and continue to grab bread and meat with their bare hands for the next customers order without washing their hands. Not coming back.

Phenomenal Sandwich. This place is spot on for an amazing experience. For a person like myself who hates mustard, this place has the most amazing house mustard.( I love it). I tried the Porchetta & Feature McMeatball both were top notch. Their bread was amazing flavorful and crisp but still soft inside. Portions were great, definitely filling. Prices were spot on for the insane quality. Friendly Staff. Clean Establishment. Fast Service. Cozy Atmosphere

First time to Meat and Bread. Visited the Cambie location today. Showed up right at 11. The lady was nice. Ordered the Porchetta sandwich. I ate every crumb. Verdict. Terrible. I would never recommend until I go back and try at least another dozen. Heard the Meatball is good too. I'll see you tomorrow.

Amazing restaurant, but they only serve quite literally, just meat and bread. Also pretty pricy for what it is. Staff is very nice and chatty though, probably because it’s the owner behind the counter.Vegetarian options: Basically non existent.

We do usually enjoy their food.The lady staff was just busy on her phone and I had to ask her for her attention. And after all that, she started making my sandwich without washing her hands. Just a little disappointed as food is always good here.

Every single time I come here I am never disappointed with a delicious filled sandwich of meat.Recently, was here again with a coworker, and it is always great to be here. The line up might be coming out of establishment, but it goes by really fast. I love the mustard they make here, it is so delicious and so spicy.The regular Porchetta is what I usually come here for. But usually, they have specials on a weekly basis. I had their Veal once, curry chicken, and spicy beef. They are all just as delicious, and I would recommend anyone to drop by for an amazing time with food in your person.
