I really like Meet Restaurant and have enjoyed their food in the past, but I wanted to share my recent experiences with their bowls.
A few nights ago (Friday), I ordered one of their bowls and requested no rice and paid extra for extra greens/salad. Unfortunately, the bowl came with no extra salad, even though I paid the additional cost, and the amount of kale was extremely small.
Today, I decided to give it another try and ordered the same bowl. I clearly mentioned again: no rice and please don’t forget to add the salad, and I paid extra once more for extra greens. The bowl arrived mostly with lettuce and again had basically no kale at all, which was disappointing.
I also don’t know what oil is being used, but the taste is a bit off—although with the dressing and everything else, it’s still edible and the bowl can be enjoyable.
However, today I also found a small piece of pasta inside my bowl (photo attached). The bowl I ordered doesn’t include any pasta, so finding a random piece was concerning. I hope this was just an honest mistake, but it didn’t give me the best feeling about the preparation.
I’m sharing this because I really do like this restaurant and want to continue ordering from them, but I hope the consistency and attention to detail can be improved—especially when customers pay extra for add-ons that don’t end up being included.

Absolutely amazing vegan food, classic North American / Canadian meals (think burgers, poutine etc.) and the best mousse I've had. Good prices, servers were very kind, and the atmosphere in the evenings is candlelight dinner. Do recommend.

My favourite stop every time I’m in Vancouver, paid a 40$ uber just to eat there. My fave easy pick off the menu has been the butter chickn Mac and cheese, from the noodle type, to the butter chickn sauce it slaps everytime. Service was great, our waiter was a really kind Brazilian man unfortunately I have forgotten his name, he helped make our experience there wonderful and ensures us to return again

I tried their Chikkin burger and one of the bowls, and both were honestly great. The burger was crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying, and the bowl felt fresh and hearty without being heavy. The space has a relaxed, friendly vibe, and the staff were really warm. Overall, it’s a solid spot for tasty vegan comfort food, easy to enjoy whether you’re plant-based or just trying something new.

my go-to comfort food spot! i come here at least once a week because i love it here so much. delicious food and a 100% vegan menu that my non-vegan friends also love. i highly recommend their brunch and their poutine.
i recently brought a friend with a severe nut allergy and they were so kind and accommodating, making sure that her allergy was accounted for. plus, the servers are some of the kindest servers i’ve ever had and they always greet me with a positive attitude and a smile! definitely a vancouver must-have ❤️
