Menya Raizo is a popular spot known for its good quality customizable ramen dishes like Gyokai shoyu ramen and spicy tonkotsu gyōkai. The rich broth with seafood overtones and well-cooked noodles make it one of the best ramen places in the city. The yuzu shio ramen with added soft boiled egg and seaweed is highly recommended, along with the agedashi mochi. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere contribute to a great dining experience. Customers enjoy trying the yuzu honey soda and note that the staff is accommodating. Visitors also appreciate the good deals, such as ramen with a mini don, which offers a satisfying portion at an affordable price. The atmosphere is cozy with wooden seating, reminiscent of crowded stalls in Japan, so guests should be prepared to sit close to their neighbors. The Cha Shu Hakata Tonkotsu and the Gyokai Tonkotsu are great and tasty ramen. The restaurant is clean, friendly and fast, very close to the Canada Line Station. Food is delish and the atmosphere quite good and original. A spicy konkotsu ramen and a delicious cola were just right, a delish interpretation of what was tried. A bowl of ramen with chicken broth, sliced chicken, a seasoned soft boiled egg, mushroom-like slices, and a large sheet of seaweed that melted into the rich and delicious broth was comforting and satisfying, with depth of flavours and textures.
