The food itself is good, but the young Asian server at the front desk treats my friend madly. so rude! I felt disappointed since I am no stranger to the shop. Will reduce visits.

The pricing for the pizzas increase further and further BUT the quality and portion size of each pizza decreases. The flavour of the pizza is decent (not justifiable for the price). Compared to in 2021 the toppings added have been less and less (You can see in the photos below, One with less arugula is recently taken)

What an awesome place! Delicious pizza to eat and low-key comfy surroundings to study in. They do an incredible job here.

Mercante is a great place to visit, and I urge you to, especially for their pizzas. However, as great as it tastes, it is clear that over the two years I have been going there, the amount of arugula they have been adding has decreased drastically.
Maybe it is just shrinkflation, or maybe nobody likes arugula, but regardless, that is disappointing nonetheless.
Stick to the pizzas with pesto or tomato sauce, they are absolutely amazing, the ones without are quite bland.
The crust is some of the best you’ll ever taste, or maybe all my years of never trying pizza this fresh ruined my tastebuds.
If I were to recommend a particular pizza, it’d definitely be the pesto pollo! It’s simple, pesto with chicken and mushrooms but it is a joy to eat.
The pizza is quite fast, cooked in around 10 minutes, and there are plenty of seating as well.
I tried the pasta once when it first came out… and it was basically just reheated in a shoddy take-out container. Incredibly disappointing compared to the pizzas.
The mini caprese salad has the best sauce I’ve ever eaten, so even if the price is a bit steep, worth it imo.
Anyways, please visit! And enjoy some of the pizza pictures I’ve taken over the years.

Got pizza there later at night (like 7:30) and it was cold and the centre was so soggy that it felt like I just put disintegrating toilet paper in my mouth. I think they just re-heated one they had sitting around and they didn't even do that well. Bleh.
Decent.

The pizza is pretty good, good options, direct service and pretty fast. Expensive though, but I think worth the quality.

Wow, a hidden treasure inside UBC~
The coffee was a bit disappointing, but the pizza was the best. Since it's not a coffee shop, it would be perfect to just have it with coke^^

Tried the lasagna, was a little expensive and for the price I expected better. Still a convenient spot on campus for a quick bite and the study spots are nice but not very affordable.

Pizza was really quite disappointing compared to the past. Not all pieces had arugula and prosciutto. Crust was a bit undercooked. A great pity.
Great place otherwise for a quick bite.
