They suggested spicy soup and japchae. Its sooo delicious. I can't wait to try it for dinner so we can cook our own food.

Food was good, but the service? Not so much. Our server didn't take our drink order until we'd been sitting there for at least 10 minutes and waived her down. She didn't have much patience with us when we asked her questions about the menu — we didn't feel welcome and won't be returning anytime soon.

For longest time we are keeping on going here. But oh my god. The owner every time comes to us, puts all the meat on the grill mixes stuff, tells us how to eat and literally ruins the whole experience.Every person has a system. Just please let them enjoy. People are not there to learn about how to eat. We come to eat food, and we like your food.I don’t think I will ever come back, despite I did like the food.Sorry guys but it really pissed me off this last time that we came.We were little by little eating the meat, all the sudden he comes and puts all the meat on the grill, picks a lettuce, and puts stuff in it, extremely spicy (maybe someone does not like spice). He really made me uncomfortable.

Food quality is decent, a bit overpriced i'd say. but what is worse is the service. The server seems not liking her job. she was just throwing plates around. never check on our table. she would clean up other table and made a huge noises cleaning. we ordered BBQ but she didn't bother to change the grill. I should have read the reviews.I hope there is more training on the customer service. it's the basic thing to have especially for F&B industry.

Do no go there. The rudest "person" I have ever encountered in my life. Can't even explain what I did wrong. I ordered cold noodle, then he ignores me. So I asked him if he got my order then he tells my husband to order first! So I said i don't understand did you get my order?" Then he yells at me saying "I'm thinking!!! Cold noodle only for bbq customers" !!! From the beginning this guy looked so angry, stressed, and miserable. Why pay $ to support and eat at a place who yells at you for ordering food. Below zero star. Never had such a bad treatment in my whole entire life.

Do not eat here. The owner/cook as others has wrote about has a chip on his shoulder. I've never experienced anything like this.1) Owner yells at me for not ordering 3 dishes, which is required to be able to use the grill. I wasn't hungry and don't like being forced to order more food than I want.2) After all his bickering, owners agrees to cook my two dishes in the kitchen. 3) My two meats dishes come out over seasoned, overcooked cooked, and burnt.I will never return.Positive note our waitress was friendly.

Service was exceptionally fast and friendly for a Korean restaurant! Very nice servers and staff! The food was very delicious! The bathrooms needed some attention.

I went there like one year ago, me and my friend just wanted some treat because we got hungry while wandering down the street. We didn’t order the bbq things but we had some soup, fried things, and some little appetizers. The appetizers there were so palatable I just couldn’t forget about their kimchi and pickled daikons… I even ordered some more appetizers! Those suited the rice so well. And the fried vegetables (pumpkin, carrot and something else) were appropriately sweet as they kept the freshness of the vegetables! But the service wasn’t so great, yet not bad!Don’t know how things go currently. Hope the kimchi and daikon are still so! (I guess they are homemade)Vegetarian options: Love the vegan appetizers there

Meat quality was good but like the other yelpers stated, service was non existent, unless you wave them down, they don't check on you. We ordered the combo B but only 3 banchans was provided . Overall, food was good.We also ordered the salmon sashimi and it was meh.if you're a needy type of customer, don't come here.

i genuinely don’t understand all the bad reviews of this place. the food was absolutely delicious and the waitress was beyond accommodating. we ordered the 감자탕 (gamjatang soup) and 막창볶음 (pork intestines with spicy sauce) which were both absolutely phenomenal. this is such a hidden gem of a restaurant that really reminds me of the authentic and amazing korean food back home in calgary!

We were so disappointed after eating here. To begin with, we have ordered the beef bbq set for two but the portion is so small and so overpriced.. what’s worse is after the meal, me and my friend were both having upset stomach and diarrhoea… we think we got food poisoned from there…If it’s just for the overprice thing, I probably wouldn’t write this review as I know how hard it is to do business in Vancouver these days… but paying for a $120 meal and got food poison afterward is really sad and unacceptable for the customer too…

Decent quality food. Portions are a bit small for the price.Overall, it's a bit pricy but food and service are alright.

We ordered the beef combo, and it was the best one we've had so far. Side dishes are also authentic, and service was also impeccable. This is a hidden jem.

I've been to Miss Korea BBQ pre-pandemic and post. One of my fave things is the fact that they are open late and pretty easy to get to from most hotels you'd likely stay at in downtown Vancouver. We went on a Friday night and aside from a few reserved tables, it wasn't all that busy. We were seated immediately and were able to order fairly quickly. We picked the beef combo they had to make it a bit easier and added pork jowl as an extra item. Everything came all at once which made ordering easy. Food was definitely tasty! The one thing I was meh about was the service. To be honest, this is the kind of place that you'd end up not being bothered much by the wait staff... aka once you order you're likely not gonna see them much. They do have the buttons that some korean restaurants have to catch their attention. Some people feel bad about doing that, but know it's pretty expected! Despite that, i found our service to be slower which was ok, except for the fact that at one point we literally had no grill and our fire was turned off by one of the staff when we weren't done yet. Granted, it seemed like they were still training but despite pressing the button a few times, it took a while for us to get a grill settled for us to finish up. The other staff profusely apologized and the owner also came to chat with us before we left.I would totally still come back despite all that! It's a pretty affordable KBBQ place, the food was good and I think they can totally improve service over time.
