Business was fairly steady. Wanted to try this place so came here after dinner. Ordered the Ube ice cream and it was pretty good. At $8, it is premium pricing. Decent but not sure I would come that often since $8 is pretty expensive for ice cream. Also tried the creme brulee bar which was good too.

Can't say I've ever tried made-to-order ice cream before, which is the specialty here. I thought it might just be a gimmicky thing, but the result is a uniquely dense and smooth ice cream. I tried the vegan genmaicha flavour, which tasted like it was made with quality tea. They have a modest selection of flavours which all sounded interesting, although I think the genmaicha was the only vegan option. I think they rotate different flavours in and out seasonally. I was there on a Friday evening but there wasn't actually much of a crowd at all, just 2 people waiting for their orders before me and a big family that came after, so I didn't have to wait very long. I'd get this ice cream again!

I was really keen on trying the crème brûlée sandwich but sadly they had run out of it by then time we reached. They suggested that we could choose an alternate sandwich of choice and they’d brûlée it for us. So we ended up trying a brûlée-d vanilla oat milk ice cream sandwich and it delivered. The biscuit was the right amount of buttery and thick. The ice cream wasn’t too sweet which I loved! And the brûlée on top was a chef’s kiss! It’s also a super satisfying expirience to watch the ice cream theatrics happen in front of you!

Ice cream texture is very smooth but the oat vanilla ice cream lacks flavor and the macha ice cream is too bitter. Also the lines take forever.

Unique never had this before. Ice cream in the sandwich wasn't very sweet which allowed the cookie crème brûlée and matcha (please do the matcha) to shine and complement. Definitely the sum was greater than the parts!

Ordered a Crème Brûlée Ice cream, it smelled burnt and not really tasty, portions was really small for the price and the waitress was not kind at all. Disappointed…

Ummm this ice cream has a bizarre texture and not for the good. It's sorta waxy?? Or cold pudding mite describe it best. Another strange comment would be that the logo is pathetic and the atmosphere is rustic but like hobo rustic. No effort. It's over priced . Oh and stay away from the Irish cream flavor it's bitter not sweet at all.

We wandered upon this cute ice cream place when we were browsing in the area. The unique flavors on the menu and even more unique presentation of the ice cream that other customers were happily eating drew us in. We are so happy we ended up going in and trying one for ourselves because it was delicious We got the lavender brûlée sandwich and watched the server torch it for the brûlée effect. The lavender taste was a little subtle but still good and we loved the graham cracker crust which paired nicely with the still solid ice cream. We'd come back to try different flavors!

What an experience. Was it lightly snowing, yes. Did we still get specialty flavored ice cream, yes. As a s'mores fiend, I had to get the torched ice cream bar and I gotta say I wasn't a huge fan of the smoky flavor. I know s'mores includes some smoke because it's marshmallows and chocolate melted on graham crackers over a fire, but this had that butane kind of taste I couldn't shake off. The rest of the bar was delicious and I'm glad we stopped.

To be honest, I was debating whether or not it was worth taking the time to right a Google review for this ice cream shop, as i'm not the type to write reviews. However, I feel that it is important for my voice to be heard so that things can change for the better. I walked into the Yaletown location with a friend today around 2pm and we were not even given the slightest bit of a greeting. When I steped up for the cashier to take my order, she barely said a word and when she spoke, spoke in the most robotic tone you can imagine with no facial expressions whatsoever. I don't know about you, but this is not the customer service I enjoy recieving.I got the creme brulee ice cream which was good but not any better than Earnest in my opinion, and more expensive as well. Overall, this place is definitely over-hyped but not TOO bad.
