Good cake, unfortunately our service was atrocious. We tried to ask about allergen concerns but the staff were uncaring and even fought back on ther matter (he tried to tell me that hazelnuts are not a nut, as if that would change the fact that it’s still an allergy concern.) so as nice as the food was, the service put a bad taste in my mouth. This might not reflect the bakery as a whole, but it is my experience.

I used to love Mix, but they must be under new management because it has gone downhill quite steeply over the last six months or so. Prices are higher now, but the food is worse. A couple of months ago I bought an $11 box of ginger cookies and they were dry and stale. Today I got a box a bag of day olds from Too Good to Go, and the bread in the bag was literally as hard as a rock. Their coffee was never particularly good and it’s even worse now. I’m sad to say that I won’t be back, not even for the chocolate scones, which I used to love so much.
Your pumpkin pie is first class! Thank you!

Writing some emails over a butternut tofu soup (with a little self serve chilli oil) - next level! We all know their bread is delicious but this soup? Yum!

Some of the best sandwiches in Vancouver. Great staff and good atmosphere. I always stop by when I’m in the area.

Edit: they comped me a fresh one, but only after asking 3 times, and them trying to sell me old one twice.
Who sells old stale baguettes? Really disappointing. 2 day old baguette for 5 dollars. Yuck.

Lovely little cafe with good food, friendly and efficient staff and a great window bar to sit at! The London fog was perfect, and the spinach croissant was awesome.

Freshest and the best cream cheesecake. Not too sweet, very creamy and smooth, melt in your mouth dessert. Mwah!

Nice local family bakery. The personnel is friendly and happy to help. Have been visiting this bakery for several times, together with my boyfriend. Either to get a beverage, bread or another snack. The hot chocolate and the cold hot chocolate are delicious. As is their sourdough.

First of all, the man who seemed to be the manager was not nice to me, and the attitude toward the employee was poor. I ordered coffee and bread but the taste was normal. I had no choice but to stop by and eat because I didn't have time, but I don't have any plans to visit again.

Worst customer service ever. DO NOT GO DURING THE SUMMER (especially) it is burning hot because of the giant ovens. The food is NOT worth the price. The owner/boss is terribly mean, and he does not care about his customers but money. Go to other cafes, and I’m talking from my own experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They try to make you spend more money by encouraging you to buy more, and I highly recommend going to other better cafes. The dishes and cups were so dirty I was shocked.
