Love their bbq pork and roasted pork, and other meats as well 😋
Great bbq pork
My partner asked for half fat and half lean, a very standard Chinese request for BBQ pork. They ended up giving us half order all fat. And half super lean. Maybe a misinterpretation or maybe intentional. The duck was large but dry.
Pricing is reasonable so giving it 2 stars.
Excellent place to grab some Chinese BBQ. Roasted pork, and duck wings were all really good 9/10. I’ve had better BBQ duck but still pretty good 7/10.
Prices are great and the worker was really helpful. They take cash and debit there.
I’ll be back for more BBQ!
Wife loves its duck tongue and duck wings. It’s actually very tasty and not overcooked or over chewy.
dont order online, they will give you mixed meats
Good roast pork
Crunchy skin
Soooooooo good I love it !!! Cash or debt. This is my go-to spot for Chinese BBQ !
Just got home from purchasing at this store and realized I got scammed. Even though, I made sure to keep an eye on how they weighed my meats and I even asked for the roast pork unchopped.
Their scam strategy is by not showing you the receipt total, and the price tag sticker was replaced with a different food item that is more expensive. I order marinated chicken feet but the tag on the box at home showed pig intestine, which costed more.
So what? I over paid $4...
Will I be going back? I probably will, as they are convenient for me and their meat items are delicious.
It just sucks that no matter how hard I try not to get scammed, these old untrustworthy chinese men will find a way to scam you. It is probably in their blood to scam.
Readers be warned!!! Triple check your price tags before you leave the store!!!
I went to this place after reading reviews of the past 2 years. They were not positive, but I wanted to try myself. I went to this place at about 2pm on a Tuesday and got roast pork and roast duck.
None of the pieces were dry, and none only had fat. All the pieces were good which is in contrast to other reviews I have read. Some of the roast pork skin was a little bit burned, and not all were crispy but it was still good.
The only trouble I had was that their machine didn't accept my Visa debit card.

A friend of mine raves about this place so I raced from across town to make it there before they closed today (both google and their digital window sign say they close at 6pm). Got there at 5:40 only to find the lights turned off and doors locked. Very sad face. Good news is I ended up trying Chic Chic Chicken a couple doors down and it was great! I hope my $12, originally destined for New Sam, brings CC Chicken fame, fortune and many blessings. New Sam? More like Old News.
Was in the neighbourhood, went in to get some bbq meat for the first time with high hope.Asked for roast pork and half a bbq duck.Ended up cheated with old bits and pieces. Roast pork were bone dry and the skin was like leather. The duck was boney and definitely with pieces stolen. Please tell me how does half a duck end up having 2 drumsticks with little meat?
Ripped us off us by using a different label when calculating prices. We bought BBQ pork meat but they used a more expensive roast pork label. We asked about it at the time but they said don't worry about the name on the label but it turned out to be more expensive.
Can’t say I am an expert but I know enough what I am going to say. To me, the deal breaker for any Chinese BBQ place is whether they put the sauce before or after weighing the meat.
I just don’t think they should put any extra sauce on BBQ pork before weighing it. The guy just added it before putting everything on the scale while I had never asked for any sauce.
Quality of the products is not bad but I will avoid going in future due to above reason.
It’s really delicious now. I will never go there again. It’s understandable that the price has increased, but the quality has dropped too much.
