Tonight my friend who is blind and has a seeing eye dog were told we couldn’t eat in this restaurant on Denman Street because she didn’t have her service card on her. It was very obvious by the harness that this was a blind guide dog and that my friend is blind. Very disappointing to be refused in 2025!!
We had the BEST feed last night from Ongba. Coming home from our Fringe run we were too tired to cook - and boy am I glad. The portions were generous, the rolls on the Banh Mi were so fresh, loved all the pickled bits and curry mayo...the Prawn Salad rolls with dipping sauce were huge and tasty...it was exactly what we wanted.
