The cake is good for its price, it’s affordable and even the 5” cake could feed a good chunk of people, completely forgot to pick it up but the staff were very sweet about it, overall not too sweet and looked exactly like what was advertised

Absolutely wonderful & easy throughout! I wanted to send my college student a cake for his birthday and live far away. I found an incredible option in the Double Chocolate cake! It was so meaningful to be able to send it to him & the bakery not only confirmed everything, but were on time for delivery in a not so easy place to find. THIS IS THE PLACE! ? for every special occasion I’ve always order online because I know it will be perfect and on time. There’s never leftover cake because everyone always clean even the base of the cake. Definitely I was in love with my beautiful and yummy cake.

This cute little shop has great individual cheesecakes that aren't too sweet. There is a flavor for everyone. I also love that there is free parking in the back. The employees kindly help me decide what to try. The pumpkin cheesecake is delicious, it doesn't taste like canned pumpkin. I was told they use fresh pumpkin and it makes the difference. I will definitely be back! ❤️
Wow, wow , wow.... Hands down Vancouver's best cheesecake. I had to hop on to express the love my family has for this bake shop! My son, 18 years old just left for university in Ontario, and this was his final stop before leaving Vancouver. He of course ordered 6 small cheesecakes and it was the last thing he wanted in this city. I will also mention, he did not share hahaha. This place is phenomenal. everything is fresh and the best quality, hands down. The hardest part is choosing flavors of everything. We always want them all! The owners and staff have always been amazing, kind and very easy to deal with. whether its myself, or one of my three kids popping in, we are greeted with a smile and such kindness. I just loooove businesses like this. Support local! go eat one thing and you will see the passion they have! Although the cheesecake is our all time fave, all the other sweets are amazing as well.

The lady who served us today at around 4 or 5 o'clock was SO rude, which was unfortunate because, a) the cake was yummy, and b) it was MY BIRTHDAY! She was so rude to me and my sister that if I ever decide to go back, I will turn around and walk out the door if I see her at the counter. We didn't take photos of our cake slices because she ruined the experience. ? *editing to add: I've changed my mind, I will NOT be returning here thanks to the owner's response to my honest review. (I don't believe it is ganging up if we both had a bad experience with the service). *note: I am normally a huge supporter and champion of small businesses and I was genuinely excited about being a repeat customer at Oh Sweet Day, but alas.

I would've given this bakery a 4 star today if the lady at the counter wasn't so rude towards us. Zero stars for terrible customer service. If the lady was the owner, which I think she was, she should be very disappointed with herself.
There was no greeting, she didn't help us with any recommendations, or offer any assistance whatsoever. She gave us the cold shoulder from when we entered the shop, for no reason. She forgot to grab the slice of cake we ordered and had to ask her again. Very inattentive and clearly didn't care. I was so put off by her attitude I was too afraid to ask for napkins....she never provided any of that either. Considering, it's quite expensive for a slice of cake, aren't napkins a standard cost of doing business?
The lemon cheesecake and passion fruit coconut cake were OK.
We would've gone back to buy more, but not with that rude lady/owner. She gave off bad vibes. That's unfortunate considering it's my sisters birthday today.
We will NOT be returning and definitely NOT recommending. There are better bakeries in Vancouver with better customer service.
The doorway is extremely small and our stroller barely fit through it. It is not an accessible place for wheelchair access, or families with strollers.

I'm so sad that the owner feels the need to respond in this hatred manner. I really don't know why she is like that. She's owns a bake shop, shouldn't she be trying to keep customers instead of repelling them?
Judging by the owner lying about it being busy and me playing with my baby as a nuisance..(I was stuck in the doorway). She is disingenuous as a person. And someone who can't be trusted.
Typically, people apologize and take accountability. The owner clearly doesn't take responsibility.
After I wrote my honest review, I notice she is trying to bury this, just like all the other negative reviews. Please don't be fooled.
I hope this helps others on where to spend their hard earned money. She is undeserving.
