First off, this is not a review as a customer, but a testament to the rudeness of the man chopping food behind the counter. I went in a couple of times on a Saturday around 5:45 on Mar. 2. The first time I went in was to ask for a slip of paper because I just witnessed a hit and run across the street and wanted to leave my info as a witness. The man was nice about that and gave me a sticky note. Problem is when I opened the door, my big toe happened to be in the way and it got banged up. After he lent me a sticky, I went outside to check my toe because it was hurting more than the usual snubbed toe. When I took my sock off, I saw my nail had split a third of the way down and blood was oozing out. That shocked me until I noticed they had a steel reinforced base on their door and I was just wearing thin walking shoes. So I went back in and asked if I could get a bandaid as I just hurt my toe on their door. His first reaction was to scoff and say that’s not his problem, and that I was the clumsy one and that nothing like this had happened to anyone else. As if other people not getting injured justified his lack of compassion for my injury. I defended myself and said that accidents happen and their door has a steel base. He ignored me so I went to use their washroom to wrap my toe with some toilet paper so I didn’t bleed all over my shoe. I still needed to take the skytrain home. I told the guy I used his washroom because my toe was bleeding and he looked annoyed and kept chopping. I told him all I was doing was asking for a bandaid. It’s not like I blamed him for what happened. You can’t stop chopping for five seconds to help someone stop bleeding?? I went back out and still left a note for the owner of the damaged car. I’m not going to let one heartless person stop me from helping someone else. The reason I posted this and why I was so disgusted by his behaviour was not that he didn’t give me a bandaid. It was the fact that his immediate response was to be rude and condescending. If he didn’t want to help, he could’ve just said I’m sorry I cannot give you anything but maybe you can use our washroom to clean up? Why add insult to injury? I guess the people here only treat customers like human beings. You couldn’t pay me to eat here.

Have lived closed by for a while, and had never stopped by. That’s my bad, because I should be here every week. Great service. Great quality. Great price. A Chinatown gem.

My favorite place for Oysters, great selection with good price. I come every year during Oyster season and they have a special source made of wine and pepper which I love most. Only one thing with a kind reminder is they close early.

A cozy little corner Chinatown oyster bar, well worth checking out! The Happy Hour beer prices are a bit high, but we can overlook that ?

The couple running this spot really try to ensure you enjoy the experience, and they definitely succeeded in that during our visit. The variety of oysters was impressive and they were fresh and clean. Small but highly effective menu with some winners that ensure the oysters get the recognition they deserve. A nice assortment of wine, beers, and non alcoholic beverages too. Prices are a bit high but we felt the oysters were absolutely worth it.

The oysters were so fresh, tasty and smell of the sea. All the food we ordered was excellent and enjoyed by all. Small menu means the quality is excellent.
