We had a ", power bowl" salad . It was very nice and fresh with nice dressing and hashbrowns with poached eggs. It was all good except the potatoes where not crispy where where soft as if they heated them in the microwave. Coffee was good. The waitress was a very nice young lady.

Payed parking for 90 mins. Food came when there were 49 mins left. 1/3 of the tables were empty so you can hardly call it busy for a brunch restaurant in Vancouver.
Oh the food? They had some nice fruits.

Went for brunch at Pür & Simple. They have two other locations (Burnaby and PoCo). The inside has plenty of seating. Service was meh; had to flag servers down multiple times for refills.

- Pesto Philly steak skillet ($20.50) - potatoes lacked a crispy bite. Bland, boring flavours
- Crepe & fruits ($18.75) - gluten free batter. Decent mix of fruit, but nothing memorable
- Korean sunrise skillet ($19.75)
- Santa Fe benedict ($19.25)
- Bananaberry ($18.25)
- Cookie butter waffle ($19.00)

Went there for the second time as the first time was pretty good. Safe to say I will not be going back here. Staff was nice but super unorganized. Three tables got seated after us and were eating their food while we sat and waited for 1 hour for our food. And even then only my wife’s food came. Mine was another 10 mins. When I asked one of them what happen, he replied “something happen in kitchen” and walked away. Food came, super cold. Super disappointing. We left without eating it. Was not edible.

I was super excited to try this place for breakfast. The wait wasn't long at all, the atmosphere seemed cute ! The table had a sign advertising an organic matcha and replacing the potatos with fruit. I got the matcha and ordered the healthy white omelette and asked for the fruit instead. Server said it would be $8! I showed him the sign and he had to go double check. He then informed me it was $4 extra for the fruit instead of potatoes. The sign did not mention this. When we received our omelettes, they did not look like the picture and were missing the avocado.. I realized after a few bites. The server didn't come check on us and has given us a near empty ketchup bottle. I guess he was new, but the restaurant was half full at this point. I had to flag someone down and ask for condiments and about the missing avocado. The omelette tasted pretty good and so did my matcha (the avocado was hard and inedible).

Must have come on an off day. Also the washroom was super dark and then it was closed for cleaning so that was uncomfortable.

We had two Healthy Whites. So avocados on top were not served at first then after we asked for them a waiter brought it but condition was not ripe at all. Also why there is no light in the washrooms ?

Ordered the avocado lox- the hashbrowns were cold upon arrival and my poached eggs were cold and one was broken and leaked all the yolk out. Probably just a bad day to order it. My friend ordered French toast without dairy option and it was just toast with syrup and a side of cold bacon. Idk what was going on today but it wasn't worth 67$ that's for sure. The Americano was good though

Dietary restrictions: They tried to accommodate the dietary restrictions. Hit or miss depending on what you order

This is not my first time at this location and tbh it’s never been great but today was really bad. The hostess was attentive and there was a short wait as it was a holiday today. I was seated and here’s where things go off the rails. Took the server about ten minutes to acknowledge me but I understood it was busy and as per usual they appeared short staffed. The server came to take my order and the first thing on my order was not available (ice tea) so I proceeded to order a clubhouse with fries. Strike two - no fries! So I ordered an eggs Benedict with orange juice. Strike three - no orange juice. I guess I’ll stick to water. The order eventually arrives but I have no cutlery and the server places the meal and leaves. Then I see him serving other tables and he eventually sees that I have no cutlery. The food was lukewarm when it arrived and now the food is cold. I ordered my eggs soft and they arrive hard. So this is all to say it wasn’t a great experience. You’ll see from my other reviews that I am very fair in fact I tend to be overly positive but I just couldn’t do it for this one. I’m going to place the blame solely on the owner and/or management. It’s not the servers fault that someone can’t order supplies properly. The server was trying his best, it was a busy day and everyone was working hard. As mentioned earlier this place has never been great not sure why I keep going back but I think I’m officially done.

I came here for brunch while visiting Vancouver with my partner. We were excited to try a cute brunch spot and to start our day. We checked in at about 11:30. We had for wait a little while, which we expected. When we finally got seated, we had to wait a while for service. When we placed our order, I ordered French toast and specifically asked for no almonds. We spent a good hour waiting for our food, to the point we considered leaving. Our food arrived and I noticed right away there were almonds. I politely informed my server that I was allergic to almonds and needed the dish replaced. The server took it back and told me a new one would be out in about 5 min. When I got a new dish, I was hopeful they had completely remade the dish, however as I was eating I still noticed a number of almonds in my French toast, which led my to believe they just picked the almonds off. As my partner and I were eating, we finished our waters and were hoping for a refill, however no one came by to check on us. Once we were done, we spent another hour waiting for someone to come take our plates and get the check. At this point, tables that had been sat after us had come and gone. Also of note, I was charged for my French toast, despite the error. By time we left it was nearly 2pm with much of day gone by simply waiting for service/food. Overall, we had a very disappointing experience and left feeling like we could not in good faith recommend this place to a friend.

Pur & Smile is one of my favorite places to visit, but this location always delivers the worst service. Last time, the waiter spilled tea on my pants and simply said, “Oops!” without offering any real apology or assistance. I believe that the Coquitlam location is much, much better.

Varinder was a very good host, he was very punctual and brought everything we needed. Very nice guy! Location was very clean and food portion was good. My only concern was the food itself. Being that we came on a Wednesday afternoon, there were things that could've been improved, but I don't think it's at the fault of the staff and more on a business standard practice. The cubed potatoes tasted warmed up(skillet dish came on a hot plate that wasn't hot) or left in the fry hopper for quite some time. Majority of the ingredients tasted like it came from a bag, which i know a lot of franchise restaurants tend to do, but it isn't fair to the customer. Especially if we're spending"restaurant money" and not McDonald's/ Wendy's fast food money.

Aside from all of this, again, I will reiterate that Varinder was very nice and the restaurant was very clean and service was amazing. Thank you again Varinder!
