Please do not accept food requests on Too Good to Go where pickup is scheduled for 5:30 pm when you close at 5 pm. People go out of their way to pick up their food to only turn up and see that you’re shut. On top of that, you do not even have a phone number to reach you. The number on your website goes unanswered. Unsure what business you’re running.

Would be helpful to train staff on your products. I asked if they ran out of biscotti and the staff said we don’t carry biscotti. Then asked for the whole wheat croissant and the staff said we have butter croissant only. Trying to support a neighbourhood bakery but ……

I’ve tried them on TooGoodToGo app a few times, very hit or miss. Often their bread is either way too dense or too airy with huge holes. Muffins also have been so crumbly they fall apart when opened. Friendly staff and nice space though.

Wake up and smell the coffee! Pane E Formaggio Cafe has reopened and they are serving delicious freshly baked goods and drinks. I got a chance to visit their Main st. and Broadway locations and I will definitely be visiting their Broadway location on my way to or back from UBC. I Tried:Apple Crostata, Cranberry Pumpkin Seed Cookie, Butter Croissant, Leek & Parmesan Danish, Spinach & Feta Danish, cherry Greek yogurt Danish, and Latte.I truly enjoyed all of them but my top 3 would be the Apple Crostata, Spinach & Feta Danish, and Cranberry Pumpkin Seed Cookie.

I had been to a location of what I think is the same bakery on Main St to pick up some bread and pastries to go and enjoyed what I had there, so I was excited to discover this location much closer to me. I stopped by for lunch the other day, but they also sell loaves of bread and some Italian groceries in addition to sandwiches and various pastries. I had their Veggie Mix Sandwich, Berry Coffee Cake, and an iced almond milk Latte. The sandwich was really good! The roll it was served on was very special, it had a slightly buttery and flaky crust almost like a croissant. There was a variety of veggies like peppers, broccoli, onions, and greens inside, plus cheese and I think a little mayo, and when heated up it all melded together delightfully. The only catch was that it took a while to heat up (which the worker who helped me warned me about), which was okay with me, but makes this place not ideal for a quick bite unless you want your sandwich cold. It takes so long because they use a proper oven, not a grill or microwave. The coffee cake was delicious also! Sometimes coffee cakes can be too dry and crumbly for my taste but this one was nice and moist (sorry), and had just enough structure. The mixed berries added a nice pop of flavour. The worker said she was going to heat this up for me too, but it was room temperature by the time I got to eating it which was honestly probably just as well. The latte wasn't bad but somehow felt a little heavy? This may have just had to due with it being not quite cold enough - by the time I finished it, it had gotten down to refreshingly cool, but this was when all the ice had melted. I think it could have used a bit more ice to start.Everything is priced fairly. The woman working was very sweet and helpful, and patient while I was making up my mind. They don't have seating indoor but have two small tables outside. The tables are tucked into a bit of an alcove so you don't feel like you're in the way of the sidewalk with people walking on top of you.

Noticed this new spot on Broadway selling baked goods and grocery items such as cheese, canned tomatoes, and pasta. They are also offering a few different sandwiches, the ingredients inside are a bit boring and it would be nice to see them offer some sandwiches with more of an east coast and/or Italian flavour. That said, the sandwiches at least come on different breads, which a welcome alternative to the 'bread sandwiches' on ciabatta that are being sold up the street at Jo's Italian Deli (yes, Jo, your sandwiches do have way too much bread).
