Great food, great portions and great people! We came for the 3-6pm happy hour and the food was awesome - smash cheeseburger, pulled pork sandwich, ribs, cornbread, bbq beans, all absolutely delicious

Wow! We are from N. Carolina and I have to say the BBQ was excellent. It is a must if you come up Sea to Sky Hwy to Whistler. Stop in Squamish at Peckinpah's.

Great spot for lunch right in town. Quick service, good quality food. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and half rack of ribs with Mac n cheese. It’s Carolina bbq so the sauces had a tangy vinegar taste to them. Would def recommend

We ordered take out twice and dined in this past month. All of our experiences with this restaurant have been positive. Service was fantastic. Greeted warmly and given our choice of seating. Food was ready in a timely manner and very tasty. We ordered the beef brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich - small size - and the portions were generous. The baked beans were smoky and delicious. The potato salad was also tasty. My beef was tender and the BBQ sauce was so good we bought bottles to take home. The staff was also flexible in amending my order which I greatly appreciated. It is located downtown squamish in a good sized space with lots of light. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Great prices. Great service. Great food. It has become one of our favorite restaurants!

The location in Vancouver closed and re-opened in Squamish 3 mths ago. The food is not that good. I ordered mac n cheese. It was like soup, with pork fatty pieces and no cheese. I can make mac n cheese better at home. The waitress was nice and asked if I would like something else. I decided to try the fried chicken sandwich. It's ok if you like dark thigh meat. To me that is being cheap. Chicken bread meat would have been better. The beer is cheap and brisket sandwich was good.

Found this bar up in Gastown after we visited the Steam Clock during our week in Vancouver October 2019. Good Service and Great Beer. We went back a further night to have the same again but also something to eat – highly recommended.

My friend I went to this place. Walked up to the patio and saw a server finishing up with a table and as he walked in we asked if we could sit on the patio and order a drink. He offered inside and explained that they were ‘slammed and that it might take 10-15 minutes to serve you.’ We said ‘not a problem, we totally understand.’ My friend suggested we give him our order now so that he wouldn’t have to come back and take it. We ordered. He went inside. My friend and I sat at the corner table because it was empty and we liked the bench seating. We sit. Moments later this hostile person comes blazing at us ‘DID YOU JUST SEAT YOURSELF?!’ Me ‘ actually no, your colleague said we could sit here.’ Her ‘he told you to sit at a dirty table?’ Me ‘ excuse me? No, he said to sit where ever we wanted.’ Her *silence, continues to clean tables* Me ‘I think you owe me an apology’ Her in the most insincere time ‘sorry about that......’ Me ‘wow, you are really quite rude.’ Her 'ha, no, YOU are rude’ Me ‘are you serious right now? You came at me full force about sitting here.’ Her *hastily* ‘let me clean that table’ Her *removes condiments* Her ‘actually, hang on’ Her *walks away* Her *comes back* Her ‘actually, we aren’t going to be serving you’ Me ‘are you kidding me right now? You won’t serve us because I called you out for being rude?’ Her ‘NO YOU ARE RUDE’ Me *louder so other tables in the neighboring patio can hear* ‘wow, you’re a piece of work, you are one angry person’ This was my experience at 9:00pm Friday, November 15th. I’m in complete shock. I just decided to walk home (1-block). She was clearly stressed and busy. Quite frankly, after spending 20 years in service (yes this is not an exaggeration), I’ve been stressed and snappy but I’ve always recognized that and amended my erroneous error. Often offering a drink or JUST GENUINELY APOLOGIZING. Ruined my evening. Thanks Peckinpah.

Best BBQ & a definite must do in Vancouver if you love meat. Had the beautiful Pulled Pork Burger with coleslaw on a brioche roll & hubby salivated over his pound of Beef Brisket. Hubby could have easily had it twice. Staff are all really nice & friendly & happy to accommodate our 2 year old son. A few tables, stools & bar area overlooking Gassy Jack Statue on the corner. Particularly liked the Takeaway separate area.

Great atmosphere. Brisket was great!! The loaded corn bread side dish was tasty. Definitely recommend a stop here.

Saturday nights appear to be tricky in Gastown but we were very lucky to get two seats at the bar here! Ordered the chicken wings and they were great as was the coleslaw and the chips. Solid atmosphere and seemed positive that they were having to turn people away at the door. Fantastic beer too!

We stumbled upon Peckinpah whilst visiting Gastown, and although we originally only intended to get a drink, the food menu looked great so we ordered a few bits as well - fried chicken, creamed corn, hush puppies and fries, all of which went down very well. The chicken was a very generous portion - what was labelled in the menu as '2 pieces' ended up being closer to 4 - and very good indeed. The beers on offer were very decent as well - I had the Blue Buck Amber Ale, whilst my wife ordered the Pineapple Pilsner, which was exceptional. The place itself looked nice enough, and is well situated adjacent to the Gassy Jack statue. The staff were unfailingly helpful. We really enjoyed our lunch stop here, and I'm hoping we can get another chance to visit before we head home from Vancouver.

we could not get into the restaurant we wanted to and stumbled across this place. It was great with a selection of comfort food, we had the beef brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwiches both were filling and very tasty The service was quick and freindly. We ate inside but there was an option to sit outside as well, located in Gastown, definately worth a try if you are in the area.
