Petit Ami is my usual bi-weekly stop for brewed coffee. The Granville Island outlet has tons of atmosphere and ambience. However the last 3 dark roast brewed coffees have been substandard. Lack of Flavour was the issue, eg: Watered down or Lack of Beans. I don't know the reason!, French Coffee should be full of flavour and strong. In the Past, Petit Ami's dark roast was just that. Hopefully, future brews will be better.
Ordered a regular latte with whole milk. It was great—strong, not bitter. One of the best cups of Joe I’ve had in a long time. I was surprised at the 3+ rating which is why I added my thoughts!

I really liked the baristas at petit Ami they were very friendly, however I did not likeThe coffee. I got a caramel macchiato and it was served Luke warm. It tasted like it had been sitting outside for several hours. Not great. And I’m not picky about my coffee. This is the only coffee place I could find in Granville island so it sufficed but wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again.
