I have been to many Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. and i like this one the best. Noodles are nicely cooked. Broth is rich and flavourful. I always ordered one large beef pho and one lemongrass chicken with vermicelli for two ppl.

Pho Hong is our regular place for pho. Pho and beef carpaccio are delicious. Quiet and spacious seating. Will come again.

It’s an ok Vietnamese Restaurant. Ordered #1 special beef soup and 1 spring rolls. Beef and beef balls are just ok. Prices are just average and hood portion on noodles soup.

Got the crispy tofu with rice and veggies & mushroom. It was delicious. The tofu was crispy which was yummy. The sauce the mushroom was in was really good accompanied with the rice and mixed all together.

My mom and sister got pho and they also enjoyed their meals as well. The place is nice and cozy, feels secluded which is nice. Staff are friendly! I will come again to try dessert next time.

My son and I really enjoyed our meals. As mentioned by others, the dishes (we had pho and chicken curry) came with generous portions of meat/tendon/etc and the flavour was a solid thumbs-up. I wasn't left with excess broth afterwards, I think partially because they don't skimp on the selected toppings.

Also, as mentioned by others, they do indeed only take cash or debit, which is a common pho-shop thing, though it's unfortunate for those of us who love our credit card points!

Somebody else had reviewed about a Thai-style yellow curry, but no it's not Thai style. It's listed in the menu as Vietnamese style, and while I don't know what that means, it came in a more gelatinous broth, and is lightly spicy, with no red chilies like Thai has. The chicken one came with big chunks of boneless, skin-on chicken thigh and had a rich, warm flavour.

Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, but they have options that work.

First time visiting, tried the Pho Sate. Absolutely delicious. Decor is a little out of place (adobe faux roof tiles), maybe it used to be a Taceria?
Anyways, great food, will return.

Asked for no jalapenos in the sandwich but they still put them in. And only put meat in one of two salad rolls.

Delicious pho spot in Vancouver!! 😋

My friend and I ate here for dinner after a soccer game. I ordered the Beef Stew Rice Noodle Soup which was recommended to me by the lovely server since it was our first time here. I also ordered a side of spring roll.

The beef stew soup was phenomenal! The broth was very tasty and had a bit of creaminess to it. The noodles were also really good. The beef cuts were thick and tender with a good amount of fat in it that melts in your mouth. The spring roll was large and crispy but I would say price was a bit expensive for one spring roll ($3.95).

The interior was cozy with decent room but it may be harder to get a seat if the place is packed. Luckily we went near closing time so it wasn't that busy.

Our server was friendly and helped me decide which dish to try out because I was deciding between the beef stew and the pho sate. Glad I went with her favourite dish - beef stew, because it was delish! 😋

Parking here at night was a breeze, street parking was very easy to find and it’s actually free to park at night after a certain time, I think after 8 or 9pm. Daytime parking might be a bit more difficult.

Overall, this is a wonderful pho spot in Vancouver and I definitely plan to come back here to try their other soups! 🍜

Decent place for a bowl of noodles. My go-to is their pho noodles with peanut broth but they don't have them in small and I find the large portion too big for me. I would rather that they offer a smaller bowl at a cheaper price.

As with many places, Pho Hong's prices have increased a lot over the years, and we haven't been back very much. These days, it's the only Viet restaurant in the vicinity, sadly. Debit or cash only.

I had phở peanut sate. The broth was rich in peanut flavour—it made the overall rice noodle soup delicious and creamy! The peanut garnishings also added good texture.

My only dislikes were the cucumbers in a hot noodle soup (like, why...?), and the chunky jalepeños; I feel they don't complement the dish at all.

I think this will become our go to pho spot based on our experience today! We ordered the milk tea, vegan pho, and Thai style yellow curry. all were fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. Cute interior as well, designed like an alley in

Their Vietnamese Sub (Banh Mi) was disappointing. Seems like they just take the left over tendon pieces and throw it in their beef sub. There wasn’t a lot of meat to begin with and the meat that was in it was ALL tendons and hard to chew.
