Vegetarian options: Amazing! It’s not often the vegetarian menus vary as much as the meat options do for pizzas, it was hard for me to decide!

honestly by far one of my favourite pizza places to go to in Vancouver. i’ve been here a handful of times, but i’ve tried plenty around the city and this one is just so so good. if you’re looking for a new authentic italian pizza place to try this place definitely will not disappoint you!!

Drove from Surrey on a friend's recommendation and Barbarella did not disappoint. ? Delicious pizza (Margherita and Divano pizzas are strongly recommended) with thin, slightly crispy crust, plus rosemary and chili oils to kick them up a notch. ? The tomato soup was another winner. Friendly service and super-chill vibe. Great kids, vegetarian and vegan options, too. ?

Amazing pizza restaurant - our new favourite in east van. Really delicious pizzas, with great vegan options and very well priced drinks. Highlight by far was the service, our server Els was amazing - such great service and super friendly, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back!!

Delicious and light pizza that I can't recommend enough. Run, don't walk.

Average at best, but the thing that I’m irate about is the size. $65 after all the fees for two medium pizza’s is disgusting. I’d rather eat supermarket pizza.

Pretty good, but worse than Brooklyn which is cheaper and nearby (no reason for this pizza to cost as much as it does for a small size and ok taste)
I tried this place at Club Kitchen and order a sandwich, more like a MINI sandwich (2 mini pieces of what you see in photo), not even a trace of sausage (zoom in photo and you’ll find nothing) ! I’ve tried other Italian
sandwiches like Il Saltimbocca or la Grotta del Formaggio and for the same price you’ll get double or triple the food and delicious, I would never go back to this place and definitely will not recommend, disappointed!!!
Pizza is a funny thing... It's pretty simple to make well so it's not hard to find decent pizza in Vancouver. Barbarella takes theirs a notch above well, to excellent. I had the Filetti and added sausage (excellent, and I suspect, made in house). My partner had the Cavolini.
The space is pretty basic but we liked the local art featured on the walls. The service was also pretty basic but the lack of polish didn't detract from the great pizza.
One last note... we've ordered for delivery but if you want the best flavours, fresh out of the oven is unbeatable.

We ordered 2 pizzas for pick up and unfortunately i have to agree the pizza balboa was so spicy, we couldn't finish it. The other pizza was good ( 4 cheese) and i would probably go again but just be aware spicy is really spicy there ;) both pizzas looked good and had a nice dough.
