Excellent traditional Portuguese foods - Bachalau, Bifana, Bitoque, and more. It's probably the only Portuguese full restaurant in Vancouver now. The service was very good and attentive. The atmosphere was dark and empty. It's very surprising for a Friday evening on Commercial St. The restaurant needs a good interior designer and a lot of renovation to attract a more diverse audience than just Portuguese men who want to watch a soccer game and drink beer and eat chips.
Enjoyed the piri piri shrimp and cod cakes. Grilled sardines and chourico & clams were too salty. Egg tarts tasted great but the flan wasn't that good. The custard was bland and the caramel was almost bitter.
