I am regular of purebread & a fan of it’s products. But this particular location didn’t give me good vibes. I know this place closes at 4, so this particular day I managed to reach there by 3 and ordered quite many bakery items for pack as well as a cappuccino (extra hot) to have it there.First thing the server said that place closes at (as I said it was still 3pm) so that was pretty rude. Secondly the coffee wasn’t hot at all.Thirdly they didn’t pack the items in an orderly manner and in a nice way as they were plenty as is if they didn’t took any interest or whatever. I mean it’s a famous place so please maintain your standards of service as well. Pretty disappointed.

Rustic furniture matches the age of the building it's located in. Very good pastries! Baked fresh every day, they told me! I thought the Chocolate Almond Croissant ? felt unevenly baked where, where one side seemed more crispier than the rest of the flaky parts. Might have been the way it was folded? But really, is before they used a lot of butter! Excellent! Still, REALLY good! I'm not complaining. In fact, the contrast of textures adds more to it. And because you're biting into the hard part with chocolate, it's actually much more fitting. If anything, wash it down with a small macchiato.Oh, also, try the misto and the gingerbread cake too! The ginger flavor wasn't super strong --nice hint, but the cake was dense thanks to the molasses. ?

Visited this bakery both in Vancouver and Whistler. I was blown away by the variety. Quality was OK. I guess it really helps to get there early and get the pastries when fresh. Service was fast-food-style impersonal but not rude.

So many options. Just as good as Whistler. Love that they have vegan options, would love if they also labeled items dairy free and not just vegan as one can always hope that might include a few more options.
