Ordered the beef noodle soup special. Lunch combo was a tad restrictive with no option to combo with their signature noodle soup except for a few days in the week. No problem, so I just ordered the soup with no extra (loss of potential upsell by the store). Decent flavour with big chunks of beef but the broth was a tad salty. Issue comes with asking waitress to make the broth spicy... blank look she says she will bring chili. Order comes with pickle but no chili... she forgot. No problem asked another worker and original lady gives me a look. They removed the empty dishes quickly even though place was half full and no customers lining up. Made to feel rushed and that they need the table back... Comes time to pay tip option starts at 15% 20% 25%. Where is the 10% 15% 20% ? Are you kidding me? This culture of "tip creep" is starting to annoy the heck out of me, especially if you have done really nothing to earn it. No smile. No thank you or your welcome when I acknowledge you with a "thank you" for bringing the meal to me. End up giving a custom tip of 10%. This is a case where I would prefer a Japanese robot server. Had it once and doubt that I would repeat (since I cook this at home).

The signature beef noodle is memorable - super rich broth with good amount of thick, soft beef slices and bok choy. Fried chicken tasted great as well. Came in near to closing hours, but staff still accommodated well.

I love this location, as it's a centrally located in the heart of Vancouver's bustling Chinatown. The staff are super efficiently, friendly, and they seated us right away. We've had lots of Taiwanese food through mutual friends, but we love the flavours this restaurant serves up. For a quick snack, we shared the beef noodle soup with a side of brisket + pan fried beef wraps. The broth for the soup is amazing, and the meat is super tender. The beef wraps are an incredible ratio of savoury to sweet. Definitely left us wanting more, but we had dinner plans so didn't want to put us over the edge. Will def come back with friends, as we really enjoyed it. They have a pretty diverse menu for both vegetarians and meat lovers and seafood lovers.

When our original lunch plans fell through.. we surprisingly saw this restaurant down the street. We got seated right away and service was quick and welcoming. Very similar to dimsum ordering.. we click online to choose which dishes we want and the server goes over it again with us in person to verify. It didn't take long for the food to come out and they came out piping hot. It's hard to compare flavors to Din Tai Fung but it's closely comparable! Flavors are there and portions are decently large. My favorite was the salt & pepper chicken rice bowl. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned.. with pickled veggies and a boiled egg added to the rice bowl. Ww also ordered the beef brisket noodle soup.. very flavorful and amazing. We ordered spicy wontons, shumai & shrimp dumplings. Tasted pretty fresh and good size! Overall we were blown away with the flavors and lots of different options on their menu. I would definitely come back!

Ivy the manager is a rockstar.Sam and Peter are awesome servers.Do yourself, your family, and friends a favor by giving yourself the magic of this noodle soup. Seriously it is next level. 10/10 would recommend.
We were visiting out of town from Texas and this is by FAR the best dumpling and soup restaurant we’ve ever had. We’ve both travelled over seas and this is a pure authentic experience!! Delicious delicious delicious.The staff went over and beyond to make a table appear out of thin air for us so our baby could sit in a high chair with us. Peter and Sam were great!!!The service was also so amazing. Everyone was super kind and friendly. They educated us on different dishes too.Don’t miss out on this experience if you are in Vancouver

I went here on Valentine's Day evening to treat myself because I only have myself, to add insult to injury when I arrived I was the only patron in the store for a good 15 minutes. It felt like I was all alone in this world. Then I got the spicy beef noodle and it ended up being just the perfect amount of spiciness. The portion was great the beef was tender and everything about this bowl of noodles was excellent. I hope I can one day find someone with this level of a delicate balance of spicy, savoury and tenderness. Also the staff was very helpful
