The homemade plum sauce made with real green plums takes the roast chicken to another level. It’s refreshing and balances the richness perfectly. Can’t wait to come back and bring my family!

Their shop offers a wide variety of BBQ options at very reasonable prices.
My personal favourite is their steamed chicken — highly recommended!

Today I tried the triple combo rice from their shop. The meal box comes with three different kinds of BBQ—each one was incredibly tasty, fragrant, and perfectly crispy outside while tender inside. It paired really well with their sour plum sauce. The price is fair too—just $15.

I stopped by their Vancouver location this time and got the triple BBQ combo to go. It’s perfect—you get to try char siu, BBQ chicken, and roasted pork all in one go. The plum sauce they include is just right and so tasty. I really love their style of roasting—the flavor is on point. Definitely became a fan after this

0 star if I have a choice. Don’t waste your money here. We called ahead because we’re tourists and wanted to check if a reservation was needed. The woman who answered the phone told us we had to preorder a goose. The woman even said something along the lines of, “You don’t want to waste time waiting since you’re visiting from the USA.”

However, when we arrived, we discovered it’s a takeout-only place. To make things worse, they had the audacity to suggest we take the food to a McDonald’s if we wanted a place to sit and eat.

As for the food: The goose was extremely dry, with a very chewy texture. The pork belly, as shown in the picture, was poorly prepared!!!! The skin wasn’t evenly roasted and NOT crispy (skin was in white!). It was such a disappointing experience. I can’t help but feel we were treated this way because our phone number has a US area code.

The sign is very attractive. The boss lady said it was very delicious and fragrant. But in reality, the roast goose I bought was dark, dry, and a bit fishy. The price is not cheap either. regret. I will definitely not help you again.

After living in Vancouver for 2 years, I discovered the most authentic roast goose. Great! Come and buy often. Updated in 2024-10. The latest purchase revealed that due to inflation, the roast goose is a bit more expensive than before. It is recommended that if you find it expensive, you can buy roast duck instead.

I am not Chinese, but never felt intimidated to try this place. The owners are very nice and it seems the place is busy, so they were especially patient with my questions and lack of knowledge. I ordered roast duck, bbq and roast pork and paid with card. They gave me a free bag, and were quick with chopping up my order and sending me on my way. I think more people should be open to trying places like this, because you have no idea what you’re missing if you never take the chance. The flavours of everything were amazing - perfectly salted meat, juicy and tender with a sweet and savoury marinade. Large portions and fair prices. They also have a good variety of meats and cuts, so I’m sure everyone could find something they’d like to try.

I am no stranger to this style of bbq, but coming here was a first despite living in Vancouver for over 7 years. I will return and recommend to friends!

Very dishonet establishment! Visited on a weekday afternoon with my mom, no other customers in the shop. We asked to buy half a roasted goose and the owner held up half a goose and said $40. We said that's fine and paid in cash. A female worker handed us a covered box in a plastic bag and we took it and left. Came home and found out that it was a box of roasted duck. It tasted alright but it was not what we were shown or paid for. Avoid.

My regular place to get bbq duck. We tried a whole one this time. Meat is juicy and skin is crispy. Their noodle is $2.50 a bag and good for 2 people. Tastes very authentic.
