I dine at this quaint hidden gem at least once a week. You get treated as family every single time! A little boy gives you the menu and the grandma serves you perfect temperature tea. I give the chef an extra star as she always go above and beyond and tries to satiate my delicate palette. I always leave with a full heart and stomach. Cannot wait to go back next week! Give this family run restaurant a try and you will be pleasantly surprised.
Small family restaurants seem to be in decline and it was nice to discover Kim Phung. It was a delight.The restaurant is very small, with only a dozen or so tables. It is not polished, modern, or new. Overall, we found it to be clean and well kept. There is wear noted and some clutter that seems to accompany long established family operations. Family run restaurant with resident grandma chilling in house, you know it's going to be some good eats. Had their BBH, light clear soup base, variety of fresh cuts and perfectly sliced banana blossom. House chilli was spicy that I had to remedy it with a diet Coke, 1/10 point off as room temp pop with ice doesn't hit the spot. Will keep Kim Phung on the rotation.
