Thai Son Restaurant Reviews
one of the best budget pho old school spot. They kept prices as low as possible and consistent. Place looks abit run down over the years but food still good
Tried something I haven't tried before here, which was item 51 - grilled pork lettuce wrap, and looking forward to having it again. Great presentation, fresh vegetables, and very tasty. I wish I took a picture!
Docked one star off the service for the hot coffee that arrived late, and this wasn't the first time it's been slow to arrive.
This is a great place to eat, and the waitresses are very nice. If you have never had Vietnamese coffee before, I recommend it very highly.

Thai Son Restaurant is a hidden gem in the city, serving delightful Vietnamese cuisine. Their lemon grass chicken with broken rice and fried egg is a must-try, offering a burst of flavors in every bite. The portions are very generous, with one customer mentioning they had to take some home because it was so filling. The rice is perfectly cooked, and the egg is nice and runny, pairing well with the tender chicken. The pickled carrots and radish add a crisp and juicy touch to the meal. The restaurant has many seating options and plenty of spoons and utensils on the tables. The service is friendly, and the staff uses numbered menus to help with ordering despite some language barriers. The broth and portions are pretty good, and the prices are fair, especially with the Tuesday 10% off special. The restaurant is cash-only, so diners should remember to bring cash, as tips are on top of the tax already paid. Despite its simple exterior, Thai Son impresses with affordable prices and mouthwatering dishes, making it a must-visit for food lovers seeking a culinary delight.
