It was an evening when we were craving Pad Thai, and Google directed us to this establishment. The takeout process was quick and easy. We ordered a chicken Pad Thai (for an additional $2), bringing the total to just under $15.

The dish included five small pieces of chicken and two pieces of tofu.

We didn’t dine in, so we cannot comment on the ambiance or much of the service.

Clean, serves good food at very reasonable prices, and the service is prompt with meals arriving quickly.

Vegetarian options: You can substitute to tofu or no protein in most of their dishes.

This restaurant uses a fast-food-like ordering system. You go to the counter to place your order, pay, and then wait at your seat. I visited the restaurant for the first time in July 2024 and tried the Panang Red Curry with a spicy level of 5. The food was great, and the spicy level was just right for me. I might try level 6 or 7 in the future (you can see the spicy level in the photos from other reviewers). Unfortunately, the portion was a bit small for me. I think they could offer an additional option between the ordering steps B and C, allowing customers to choose the amount of rice and curry sauce. When I went, it was lunchtime, but it wasn't very crowded.

Ordered the Tom Yum and the vegetables were bitter… really disappointed and felt like a waste of money. The nice thing is that there are a lot of vegetarian options

Hungry and tired from a long fun-filled day, we randomly stumbled upon this restaurant walking along Kitsilano. We were both feeling rice that day, and seeing the pictures outside we walked-in without expecting much, little did I know that it was going to turn out to be one of my favourite spots during my trip to Vancouver! The place transported me to the time I used to live in Asia, reminded me of one of those small family restaurants, you know the kind that has been existing in the street corner for ages run by an old couple. The staff were quite welcoming and greeted us like we were family coming to visit after years.Everything on the menu looked so good and were decently priced that we had trouble deciding on what to get. Eventually we settled on Chicken Pad Thai, Yellow Shrimp Curry with rice, and some chicken satay skewers (unfortunately we were too hungry and couldn’t picture all of them). It was made to order right in front of us, and brought out exceptionally quick. The portion sizes of the main dishes were way bigger than I expected. The noodles of the Pad Thai were cooked perfectly, and the curry was flavourful without skimping out on the fish. There was a good range of spice levels. Although we went for mild since neither of us could handle spice very well, the food was still extremely flavourful. While the satay skewers were a tad bit smaller than I’m used to, they tasted really good! The inviting atmosphere, clean dining experience, coupled with the music that was just at the right volume without being too overbearing bred some deep conversations; we didn’t realize how quickly time had passed. And once we realized that we’d been staying there past closing we apologized, but the staff were too kind and asked us to take our time and assured that we need not rush. I cannot thank them enough.I’ll be reminiscing my experience fondly after returning to Halifax; will definitely be back here the next time I’m in Vancouver!!

Hard to find parking. When we try the back door, they don’t let us in.At least, give customers go in easily.

Recently came here for late lunch and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.

There are plenty of seating inside. You should go ahead and order at the cashier. As advertised, you can see your food being prepared. The restaurant was not that crowded but the kitchen was (majority of orders are from delivery apps). Still I got my order relatively quickly.

I had their Pad Thai with spring rolls. I got the medium spicy level (3) and it was ok for me. The noodles were perfectly cooked but thought the spring rolls were maybe a bit bland. Interestingly they have water on tap!

Overall, I recommend this place. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious. I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu items.

The workers are SO rude. I didn’t feel welcomed and I felt rushed through my whole dining experience, if one can even call it that. Very disappointed overall. Food was alright, it’s better on Robson St. Avoid the Broadway location at all costs. Save your money and time.

The other day we went to Rice and Noodle on Robson and had a wonderful dining experience. The food was amazing and even though there was only one server she was fantastic and did such a great job. Today we decided to try the one on Broadway as we have a new guest in town. We arrived at 2:30 pm and the lady who took our order abruptly informed us that they close at 3 pm. We said that was fine. We ordered and she couldn’t care about asking the level of spice or couldn’t care about anything for that matter. Very rushed and rude even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant finishing their meal. At a few minutes before 3 she started shouting out from behind the counter in a loud voice “ 4 minutes “ while her co-worker proceed to toss a bottle of water in the air. We were basically kicked out. We were well aware we had 1/2 hour to eat and run and did not need that type of rude treatment. Never again! Management you need to address this.

I went to this place cause I love the Thai coconut soup. It was 2:30 pm and the lady that takes your order told us they were closing at 3. She was very rude, she was on our back trying to kick us out of the place and didn’t let us eat. She literally shouted the countdown over the counter. Not coming to this place ever again.
