I’d been looking forward to this night out with friends for weeks and was unfortunately very disappointed. We arrived at 6:30 PM to a very quiet restaurant which made the atmosphere a little awkward. People started to arrive after us, but the atmosphere was just not enjoyable still. Our server was pleasant enough, but hovered all night long, constantly refilling our water glasses… just leave the water bottle on the table next time. And because there were few people in the restaurant and it’s such a small restaurant, it felt like she stood at the bar and just watched us, ready to pounce. This added to the awkwardness, and made us feel rushed. Exactly 85 minutes in, we were basically kicked out….we were told that we only had time at our table for 90 minutes. Although not unusual to have limited seating times, this was the first we had heard this for our evening out. Because we were almost done anyhow we paid the bill and left. Dinner was fine and we had time to squeeze in dessert which was very yummy.

I’m feeling really disappointed. This has been my girlfriend and I’s go to restaurant for years now, and this most recent time, the food was the worst I had ever had it here. I ate what was most certainly a spoiled or almost spoiled mushroom in the risotto fhungj, which I ordered because my most favourite dish, the gnocchi pomodoro, has been removed from the menu. My girlfriend’s preferred dish wasn’t available either, and so we went with something else, which tasted fine, but it was still not up to the standard I had previously held for this restaurant. I’m super bummed, as we really loved coming here and have made lots of memories, and it’s been a tradition for us to go here, not to mention that the atmosphere of the place is absolutely amazing. As per usual, the service staff were lovely, but I think we are going to go with a different option next time.

Server was disappointed when I only ordered a Burrata cheese but honestly it was one of the worst Burrata cheese I’ve ever had. The bread was super dry and bland, whole dish was lacking in so much flavour. I’ve had better Burrata at Italian kitchen. And this Burrata was $29. Not worth it, I don’t even want to go back to try their pastas to be honest

Went on a weeknight earlier this year and it was pleasantly quiet. Staff were friendly but not overly involved, prices were a bit high but understandable for the neighborhood and quality. Drinks were good, and food was amazing! Definitely the best risotto I have ever had.
Fairly disappointing for the price. You can get amazing food at Ask for Luigi for the same price. The pasta themselves are good but the sauce wasn't. It just felt like a sauce I can easily make at home. Nothing that makes my mouth travel to Italy.

Food is great. Very few tables so make a res. Ambience is OK, servers are all very nice, good wine selection. Parking is impossible but that's downtown for ya 🤷🏻♂️
