Bagels are good, but the bagel sandwiches are a waste of your money. I would recommend the everything bagels, I also like how they make it in small quantities so you know they're made fresh.

Not really sure charging 14 dollars for a bagel the size of my pop can is right…. Not very impressed, bagel was tiny and subpar at best. Other bagel shops offer better bagels twice the size for almost half the price…

I was looking for a bagel place near my home and I encountered Rosemary on Uber to look on the menu. Looked good, but price was shocking, so I walked to the store (still shocked from instore lol). I ordered the Steveston and Whistler bagel and the wedges because it looked really good on social media. It was okay, more like a special occasion to come here. (bagels are better in America lol)Wedges- meh, half of the potatoes were still hard, no seasoning.Bagels- they are literally smaller than the palm of my hand, not so much ingredients, so very skimpy, taste is average, nothing special. Not worth 40$ total maybe 30$ okay, but I still tipped few dollars in cash.

Delicious!! These are authentic bagels, boiled salted, a totally different taste experience from your usual breakfast chain stores (lookin at you, Him Tortons). Tried the Hastings Sunrise this morning, the Montreal smoked meat pairs exceptionally well with the egg and cheese... My tastebuds were in heaven! This may very well become my Sunday morning habit...!!Parking: Try to find a spot on a side street

My wife loves the bagels here and makes me drive there to get her some when she runs out.
Moving to BC from Toronto meant something I didn’t anticipate: less availability of good bagels. I’ve found a handful of places that are pretty good but Rosemary’s Rocksalt is A+. I don’t know why the ratings are only 3.9… possibly the price? I wrote this review because I wanted to let people know that the 3.9 stars is not because of the bagels. If you are looking for a good, boiled traditional-style kind of bagel look no further, they gotchu :)

Extremely overpriced for a mini sized bagel with the thinnest layer of cream cheese. A bit shocked if I’m being honest. Although, service was exceptional, I wouldn’t go back due to the unreasonably high prices.

All good, but the tables are rarely cleaned- crumbs everywhere- even when not busy the staff don’t wipe the tables- therefore, why tip ?

Rosemary Rocksalt is a shop specializing in Montreal style bagels. I got the rosemary Rocksalt bagel to try out ($1.95 + tax). It was a nice balance of sweet bagel and salty toppings. The cafe was also nicely decorated and would be a good place to sit and catch up with a friend. Not cash friendly, only pay by card. It can get busy inside on the weekend.
